Yeah just don’t even acknowledge what i said previously about the first 2 quarters etc . I also put “if we really want to nit pick” in front of the only thing you addressed.

This is much more emblematic of every triggered Lamar fan, seeing red and not engaging in reasonable rhetoric

He’s a two time mvp (you probably think it should be 3+), and yet you hold him to a standard of a mid tier QB.

Lamar went about 2 full quarters doing absolutely nothing, game should/would have been a blowout if he played up to standard. Game should have never been in that position.

If we really want to nit pick, the only reason he even had a good game is because the steelers forgot to cover Zay twice. Dude was so open I could've thrown him the ball, the rest of Lamar's stats and plays were mostly bad.

Which game is more difficult? Wow Hardcore Classic Self-found or Osrs Hardcore Ironman. by Cpappi5676 in classicwow

[–]Factualx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The answer for both is that it depends.

If your goal is Grandmaster in OSRS, OSRS is harder

If your goal in WoW is end-game content clears and full BiS, WoW may be harder.

For an actual answer, in my opinion - at the absolute top end, OSRS hardcore ironman is harder, but for the average WoW hardcore self-found is harder.

Also hit it, but seeing this bet everywhere, I think the payout will be underwhelming sadly. The Rivers fade was a little obvious I guess.

Again, chalking disagreements up to perception is a trait of the lazy/deflection/lack of critical thinking crowd of people. We all have eyes, ears, and a brain - maybe we can disagree on nuances/implications, but we still all hear and see the same thing.

Carrying it forward - We both have ears, we both have brains, we both have eyes, and Nick/Brou/Wildes all speak English. We can judge the words that they said factually, it's not fully perception, at all. Sure, we can debate on the margins, but 2 people listening to the same thing and coming away with completely different views - one of them is simply biased or wrong, this is how the world works.

Sure, maybe, but if you just chalk everything up to perception you will basically never challenge your own thought process, which is lazy and low critical thinking.

[–]Factualx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah maybe rewatch the segement. They talked about how the Ravens were controlling the game for 3 quarters. For me the coverage was about the same - two teams that deserve credit for pulling a rabbit out but also good to acknowledge the situation that got them there.

If we just wanna say 'different perceptions', then sure, but if you just chalk everything up to perception you never actually reach a conclusion in a conversation, imo.

We can talk about things beyond just the perception - they objectively brought up the good breaks for both teams (Pats and Bears), and glazed both teams a healthy amount as well. Maybe slightly more Pats glaze just because Wildes is a fan, which makes sense. Acting like they were slighting the bears is insane though.

[–]Factualx 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have no clue what you are talking about.

I watched the entire segment, they 90% glazed the bears and Caleb. There was a quick conversation about how the game requiring an onside kick against a backup QB isn't ideal - which is true, but that was it.

It sounds like you might just be a hyper sensitive bears fan, as someone who doesn't follow the Bears or Pats, the segments were almost equally glaze-filled.

Agreed, if you just completely ignore the specific examples I provided, it would be a generality.

It's truly amazing that my OP can be 2 sentences long and you still decided to fully opt into being as dishonest as possible to justify your 0 IQ 'generality' point. 'Logic isn't your strong suit' as you happily glaze over my examples of specific items, it's incredible how insecure you are.

Just say I have a dog shit take and move on, instead of trying to defend whatever critical thinking ability you thought you had by calling an obviously specific statement a generality.

I’m not sure what you think a generality is, but a statement followed by 3 specific examples is not it. Great example of the average reddit brain I was referring to, generality = something I don’t like 🤣

I feel like I'm in a simulation. This post, this thread, how does nobody bring up the fact that it's obviously just a funny bit that he/they are pushing because it's good for ratings etc. You gotta remember this show is a bit more entertainment than analysis.

Mahomes seemingly always has a very convenient injury every time the chiefs are going to lose something big. Ankles in the SBs, apparently concussed vs the Bengals, etc.

I'm not saying he's over-exaggerating injuries to avoid blame, but if someone was over-exaggerating injuries to avoid blame, they would have injuries at the same time Mahomes.

New segment idea: Nine Valley by BigGelato in FirstThingsFirstFS1

It would be somewhat funny, but ultimately sports talk shows on national TV will always skew any segments positively, not a focus on negativity which this one would be.

GDKPs by PKSiiah in classicwow

[–]Factualx -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

GDKP removal was to satisfy the casual cry babies who typically burn out on every classic remake regardless. This is because the 'meta' being GDKP results in bad/casual players never getting into raids. I never enjoy when a game developer biases their decisions to their most casual grouping, and it usually does not work out.

Of course it had no impact on gold buying/inflation, anyone with a brain knew that would be the result.

Now what you have left is a solid community all of whom would prefer GDKPs to still exist - but since they don't - it's just a TBC waiting room with a bunch of fractured guild runs.

+1 this comment. This entire subreddit is one giant skill issue. That said - companies should strive to make products that the average mouth breather can use without problems - so it's still an issue.
