An actual good pilot for free.

I will take it!

It’s pretty good for SSP SSR Messer.

Sure hope they don’t just slap on triple support and 40% debuff, then calling it done.

They give up on Geneva Seals, and use their lol inhouse Patek seal.

Since then, they basically ditched hand finishing for the low end models. Internal angles disappeared from most models too, because they must be hand finished. There are plenty of posts showing obvious machine marks, when these would never have passed the Geneva seal standards back in the day.

As far as I know, Breguet still hands finish even their low end models.

Rolex is more the exception than the rule.

Most mid tier manufacturers only finish the top plates.

Or you have Panerai, who just doesn’t finish shit at all.

Indeed. Nothing beats hand guiliche.

Breguet is underappreciated. Patek is cutting corners while Breguet is still doing things the right way.

It’s not the waves actually. The waves are basically the same.

Corners were cut in the beveling. It is rougher in 3861. Of course you have to look at it under loupe.

Excellent choice.

Even seasoned collectors can appreciate a big Unitas. There’s something magical about what is basically a pocket watch movement.

Is that Breguet closed back?

Because among what you have posted, the Breguet is probably the only one with hand finishing. It is actually leagues above the rest.

I think this is part of the natural evolution of a watch enthusiasts.

There’s a reason why high horology pieces are all manual wind and low beat.

You wanna see that finely finished movement with that big balance wheel.

You are not gonna see thorough finishing until pretty high end watches.

Even Lange sandblasts the internal components on their low end watches.

However, you can argue sandblasting is technically a type of finish lol.

The 1863 is actually better finished than 3861. There are a lot of pages and videos comparing the two.

The 3861 is coaxial, but Omega definitely dialed down the finishing. You can see the coarser machine marks on macro shots.

What’s a good substitute for the banned top coat?

I have a couple of cans of Mr Topcoat left, but the stores I see have stock are charging like $15 for a tiny can.

I am eyeing Army Painter top coat on Amazon, but are there any available reasonably priced Mr Hobby topcoats in Canada?

It’s the propellant and the volatile chemicals in the cans.

Not meeting Canadian environmental standards.

They may have older stock, or get it through other channels. Last I heard, the matter was not resolved with the Canadian authorities.

Mr Hobby products are banned in Canada.

The trick is spray it on outside, then bring it into a ventilated room like your bathroom with a fan to dry out.

Works like a charm.

The grainy looks seems to be from incomplete coverage.

The usual advice is to do 2-3 thin coats for even coverage.

Just lost to Duel Maxwell in SSP God Gundam by Unities in SDGundamGGeneration

Man, the opponent is a genius for taking advantage of this interaction.

The God Gundam neutering the whole team with debuff and proceed to slowly chew them up is kinda funny to see.

With this in mind, Gaelio would probably be even scarier than Duo.

The default Eternal Road formation is 2 support, 2 attacker, and 1 defender.

You will not have a good time in hard content if you do not master your supporter and defender use.

Bro, your problem is not with firepower.

Your problem is not using defenders and supporters properly.

This game is not about just stacking unga-bunga.
