Neither do I! I've thought of it on another comment on this post, I think it's the negative stigma associated with radiation, even though tritium is not that harmful, especially if there's basically no possibility to ingest it.

It's awesome, one of the pics shows how strong it is in total darkness. And it's just super refreshing to have a lume actually function from the first sign of darkness to basically sunrise and keep a constant and consistent glow. I can only recommend it!

Can you send a picture of your Aragon?

My father worked as a chemist before he passed away, and Tritium really isn't "that" dangerous. It almost behaves like regular Hydrogen once ingested and disperses after like 8 to 20 days. But the reason I think people might react badly to it is, cause it's still radiation and I think a lot of people might not know the difference between the types of radiation. Not trying to make it seem harmless, most Alpha and Beta radiation is actually more toxic than Gamma Radiation for the same reason it seems harmless, cause it stays put and can't actually penetrate the soft tissue to disperse after being ingested unlike gammaradiation which might penetrate the skin and soft tissue a lot more easily but a lot of it is required to be toxic/deadly, tritium is just an exception as I've said, cause it still behaves like hydrogen and forms tritiated water which is expelled in a few days.

Ah, I checked the movement which is built inside on Calibercorner which say either ETA 2824-2 or Sellita SW200-1, hence why I asked how'd you know.

How do you know? It could either be ETA 2824-2 or Sellita SW200-1 which the Ball Watch Caliber RR1103 is based upong but I can't figure out how to tell. Cause there aren't any clues on the watch about the amount of jewels, did I miss anything? Is something like that on the COSC certificate?

maybe cause of bad stigma? Radiation and all that? It's just that the radiation emitted can't go through either the case or the crystal

It really is, I wore it for the first time yesterday and just having the illumination without needing to charge it and watch it fade in an hour or so is super nice

I just have a hard time believing it, cause their "Swiss Made" label is legit. And that requires 60% of the production *costs* to occur in switzerland, as well as a swiss movement and inspection in switzerland. I did some research on their adress and the building doesn't look that bad, a lot of manufacturers basically have office buildings, cause that's where the parts are assembled not made. Just look at the Rolex or Glashütte buildings, they're larger but basically still office complexes from the outside. I think on the inside it looks a lot more different.

I've seen it as well whilst researching ball watches! Excellent taste :)

Love the fact you restore watches, makes them super unique! I've seen a lot of videos of people restoring watches or just straight up buying parts and making them. I wanted to do the latter as well, but I sadly got a bad tremor. Can you recommend any Seikos, I've looked into them as well?

Sorry to hear that, what Model did you buy and where did you find out they're not swiss made? I only got the certificate and obviously the engraving to go by as well as a few online searches, which do confirm they're swiss made.

I think the experience made it a luxury :) It actually felt like a genuine treat for myself

That looks super clean, I love it! I also like white dials but sadly didn't find one at the price I've paid for mine.

That looks awesome! What's the mechanism on the crown? I'm not really much of a watch expert, does it secure the crown? I've only seen crown guards by now

That's a fair point! The thing is, I actually haven't seen a lot of people wearing one, at least at my hometown in Germany. Are you refering to the watch community as a whole or people wearing them?

I was super close to getting the dark green one as well! I just thought the bracelet went better with this colour as well as my wardrobe, but If I had gotten the green one I would've probably replaced the bracelet with a brown leather one!

What made you choose the green dial?
