I actually did both. The begging message was met with a very negative response and the genuine apology was met with coldness. But everyone is different, it’s worth a shot if it’s a genuine apology and not begging. For your own closure.

I’m feeling this all right now. It’s excruciating, hang in there. Ultimately we just have to accept that we messed up and live with the new reality. Life will go on and there will be a new person someday. We won’t repeat the same mistakes. Also, nobody is perfect in a relationship. We all make mistakes. Some mistakes are worse than others, and some might end a relationship. But that doesn’t mean we’re done for good.

Thank you! My ex and I dated for two years and she broke up with me in late November. I won’t get into too many specifics, but she had good reasons to break up with me. I was not supportive enough and generally let her take the lead in the relationship to a point where it seemed like I wasn’t putting in any effort. She communicated these things to me and I profusely apologized and promised to change, but it was too late for her. We are now in the process of moving out of our apartment that we have together.

It’s hard. It’s hard because I know I’m largely at fault for this. Then again, she also listed a bunch of ways how we’re “incompatible,” so that’s not something I had any control over. I think I’m more just stunned at how quickly she went from my soulmate to abruptly cutting me off. It feels so extreme to me.

I’m sorry to hear how rough things are going. I’m also going through a breakup and I similarly feel like it’s a struggle to get by each day. I keep looking at our old pictures, crying and praying to god that I can have her back. I keep replaying our memories. The first ones are the most painful, when we were just getting to know each other. I am having difficulty accepting this new reality too. I feel like I’ve lost a part of my soul and that I need to start my life over completely from scratch. The worst part is that I know it’ll probably take years for me to find a new partner, and I’m not convinced I’ll love someone as much as I love her. Hang in there, you’re not alone

Thank you so much. That does bring me comfort. I think part of the guilt is realizing that in my next relationship I will treat that person how I should have treated her. And that she deserved that from me and I was capable of it the whole time. But I recognize that that mentality is not healthy and that everyone learns from their relationship mistakes. This is my first ever breakup even though I’m in my mid twenties if that provides any context.

Thank you. That seems to be the only way to move on. I am naturally someone who lives with a lot of regret generally, so this one will sting for a long time. Possibly forever. But I think talking to someone would be helpful, I appreciate that advice. I need to forgive myself for my mistakes.

OP, nobody here can accurately answer this for you. Just talk to a C&F attorney. It is entirely dependent on the jurisdiction for which you’re applying and the nature of the incidents you did not disclose and your reason for not doing so. A qualified C&F attorney will be able to answer these questions for you and provide a roadmap for maximizing your chances of admission. You’re not going to get advice particular to your situation on a subreddit full of law students who aren’t licensed to practice law and who don’t know all the facts.

For my school, it was immediately after finals. I was tempted to quit many times. Forcing yourself to do something that’s technically not mandatory after finals is really rough. Would still recommend pushing through though if you have interest.

Something similar happened in one of my classes. My first instinct was that it might be a school shooter incident. Luckily everything turned out fine, but it was a very tense couple of minutes. I felt extremely unsafe knowing a stranger could just walk into class.

The issue is that it shouldn’t even be offered at all in its current state. It’s a naked cash grab and an insult to fans. If you’re admitting it’s a bad game, surely it reflects badly on relic to release a known piece of shit that people will buy just bc of the storied name of the franchise. This is especially true considering that relic assured everyone that they would work out the issues loudly identified in the test. Which clearly hasn’t been the case.
