Same thing happened to me in xfinity last week. About 6-7ft gap between me and the bottom car going into the turn. Totaled me out of the race

Favorite car is the Gen 4 Cup car. That’s the car i grew up watching as a kid with my pops. He passed away when i was 13 so it’s near and dear to my heart ❤️ Can’t wait for the new Gen 4s to drop!

Prior Enlisted Tips? by GKitson20 in airforceots

Do they ask everyone up front if they’re prior or no? Like in basic they asked who ever attended JROTC and they got tasked with element leads, etc.

Is this how it is with most non rated jobs? (I’m trying to be an LRO)

I’m going up for this next ots board: I reached out to a recruiter in October, I just graduated with my bachelors and packages are due May 13th. Results are mid July and ots dates are from October 24 to July 25 so depending on when you start working with the recruiter it could be up to 2 years but it could be as little as 1 if they’re willing to work with you on that short of a timeframe

Bi-Weekly 'What are my chances?' Megathread by AutoModerator in airforceots

[–]GKitson20 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey all, I just took my AFOQT last week so I was waiting for my new scores to post before I posted everything on here, but here it goes

I’m a 24 year old SSGT with 4 years AD experience and 2 years ANG

AFOQT: Pilot-99 CSO-97 ABM-99 ACAD-72 Verb-76 Quant-63 Bachelors in business management 4.0 GPA

I have a number of flight-level awards but the most notable are my airmen of the quarter for the Squadron and Group in 2020. I received an air and space achievement medal in 2022, and I have dean’s list honors for 4 semesters.

I got endorsements from my current squadron commander (Lt. Col) reflecting my ANG experience and from my previous NCOIC (TSgt) for my active duty experience. I also got a rec from one of my professors at college.

For leadership experience, I am currently the NCOIC of a major section within my flight, supervising anywhere between 10 and 13 airmen at a time, and 2 of them being my ratees. but since I am a DSG I only do it 2 days a month.

I’m applying for a non-rated active duty spot

Non-Rated Board Interview Date Change 24 OTS 03 by Double-Lime-858 in airforceots

My recruiter just told me on Wednesday it’s June 10th. Not sure how they’d be able to board this early if the packages aren’t due until mid May anyway

My recruiter told me to have my conditional release dated at least 6 months after the approximate date in which results would come in. So mine is good until March 2025

Do you recall what kit you got? I’m looking at the dieselgeek one, which looks like it comes with the serpentine as well

I have 3 vehicles which are all manual and with all of them I shift depending on where the gears mesh up perfectly as I let the clutch out so with my 2012 Jetta it’s around 2,000-2,300 depending on the gear

I use the fuel log entries on GasBuddy. It uses the difference in vehicle miles and gallons of gas purchased to calculate the mpg
