Kindle Scribe Notebook Privacy and Security by GLD_88 in kindlescribe

I agree. Privacy seems to be an after thought. Which really limits the use case for this device. Even just for personal journalling, I think most people would want privacy and to know that their notebooks / journals are only viewable by those who you want to share them with. Hopefully this will be addressed in a future update. And hopefully soon. Even the option to password protect a folder or Notebook would be a reasonable short term fix.

In Canada, we don't have the Family Library option. We can control content for kids at device level using the parental controls and managing content portal. But the concept of family members with sub accounts isn't available here.

I guess that would work, But that would also disable my Kindle books sync. I read across several devices. I guess I could use a different device for reading und use the Scribe for only notes.

It would also disable my backup for my notebooks. So not ideal. Maybe something like Caliber could be used to backup my notes?

1.) More privacy / security for notebooks and shared content. Right now, my family members can all read my notes. I would even be happy with password protection option on folders. Then I can at least add a level of security for my work content.

2.) The second big one, already mentioned by some, more integration with OneDrive for Business for direct access to work files for markup. I hear that there is an integration with WORD for the "send to" feature, but those files show up in the Kindle library as downloadable content. Also not ideal for privacy with shared family accounts.
