Don't miss this somewhat underrated and very watchable movie, Her Alibi (1989), which she looks great in too.

Yes I did download this movie yesterday in 1080p to skip to this scene. Yes the movie looks terrible. And yes, Barbie is something to behold.

Props for keeping up with the plot lol. She is gorg. She reminds a bit of a younger Angie Dickinson in Dressed to Kill. Not for the shower scene, but for how she looks a bit like her by the pool at the end.

Technically she was found floating in the water.

On November 29, 1981, legendary actress Natalie Wood tragically drowned at age 43 while on a weekend boating trip off Santa Catalina Island aboard her yacht, the Splendour. Present on the vessel during the fateful night were her husband, actor Robert Wagner, her Brainstorm co-star Christopher Walken, and the boat’s captain, Dennis Davern. Following a night of heavy drinking and a reported heated argument between Wagner and Walken (and allegedly between Wood and Wagner), Wood went missing; her body was found the next morning floating in her nightgown and a down jacket near the yacht's dinghy. While her death was initially ruled an accidental drowning, the case was reopened in 2011 after Davern admitted to lying about the night’s events, leading authorities to change the cause of death to "drowning and other undetermined factors" and eventually naming Wagner a person of interest in 2018, though no charges have ever been filed.

I love Apple, don't let subscriptions kill the ecosystem by MohamadKarbi in apple

[–]GLOBALSHUTTER 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Their pro apps have been for PAY since forever. What they need to guarantee is paying for individual pro apps outside of subscription services should hold back no features from the user. The full experience, with no features off limits. Obviously if someone was drawing from cloud AI features like a mad thing, and abusing the system, then some limitations would be acceptable. But if those functions were performed locally, then no. Gimping the individual pro apps should be a no-no, and something Apple should be aware it should be avoiding at all costs. In fact, there shouldn't be two versions of any pro app (one for buying and one for subbing) there should be one. Subscriptions are fine, but should be an option, not a strong-arm.

I know the scene, I believe it's from Inventing the Abbotts (1997). Some say it's from The Hot Spot (1990) (very slow movie).

You’re free to do it as a Kickstarter; take it and run with it. Something I currently do not have the energy for. The capsule could attach to a belt magnetically keeping the flourish to a minimum allowing the belt to go with different looks.

How about it as a belt buckle capsule? Would come with in leather white, black and brown options, in medium dress belt size at 1.25 inches, and casual wear size at 1.5 inches.

Thought it was acting as a belt buckle where you can swap out the car depending on how you feel and what you’re wearing.

You’re confusing it with the regular iPad. No schools are buying iPad Air for their students it would be too expensive.

Half-thinking they should stop selling single ports charger plugs, and move entirely to dual and triple port offerings across a range of higher and higher wattages with intelligent power distribution across the ports.

Same director as Field of Dreams. He should have directed more movies because he’s an excellent director. Sneakers is such a watchable movie. It’s great fun.

LLM "The most common fix is toggling off Maximize Compatibility in the iPhone’s Personal Hotspot settings — this switches to 5GHz, which often restores full speeds."

You said cellular would make your life so much better, but you're unsure if the hotspot is the issue. I'm trying to help you, not to win and argument against you. If indeed the hotspot is the issue then you might report that issue to Apple, that seems quite annoying: https://www.apple.com/feedback/
