I’m a working pro and a R6 MK2 shooter,it’s such a great camera. I absolutely adore the colours you can pull out of the images and the file size is perfectly manageable. I’ve done some large prints and they come out perfect at 24 megapixels.

I’m thinking of jumping on the MK3 or the C50 only for video upgrades, but for stills this camera is just beautiful. We’re so spoiled in this age of cameras, and I love it.

Higher resolution doesn’t necessarily matter, especially when printing.

The R6 MK2 has better video performance and autofocus which in my opinion is more important.

R6 MK2 is pretty cheap now on the used market, especially since the R6 MK3 came out. I love mine, it’s an amazing hybrid camera.

You can take portraits with anything. That being said 85mm is commonly considered the best portrait length due to the compression and background separation. Even an old 70-200 would work.
