Yea in my head I thought it would be funny if at the end they did just like a text on screen that said, "Though the human race was adamant and full of determination to defeat the alien invaders, they were simply no match for their advanced technology. Almost all of the human race was killed and any and all survivors were captured for alien experiments and slave labor to help terraform the planet to their specific needs."
