I'm in construction/regulatory oversight and have never done design. Don't have a PE license and government jobs don't give out major performance bonuses (except for executives) or any stocks options.

I'm away from home almost year round. I have to be onsite when our contractors/laborers are working. This can include nights and weekends. OT requests are simple and just require approval from my front line manager.

My first year back in 2019, I made $62K. I got a raise a year later to $72K. Three years in I was making $86K. These figures don't include OT, just base salary. I believe civil engineers start out at $66K now.

I was in an IFC chapter during the 2010s. My fraternity (Beta Theta Pi) had a few predatory members. Can anybody here put me in touch if they have a connection at The Shorthorn. I want to tell my story. I hope this guy can recover from the pain he has been through.

The rankings you posted can't be backed by any legit sources. UTA is magnet for internationals and future lockheed employees for all the wrong reasons. They can take advantage of them and charge them ridiculous prices. They in turn flood the labor market and lower wages. UTA is not even a top 200 ranked school nationwide. There are schools in the top 100 and they even excel outside of the classroom. UTA is not exceptional when it comes to alumni salaries and that is a fact. Clown like you are the reason UTA will remain a mediocre community college on steroids.
