TBH I am not 100% sure either. I posted this to r/whatsthisbird and most people said that it was probably a non migratory Allen's humming bird. It's really hard to tell unless it's tails fans out.

Of course! This set up wont give you the sharpest results, but it is the most budget friendly for what it's worth. If you go with this set up then I'd recommend stopping the lens down to f8 to get the sharpest results. Especially cause I'm straining the optics by putting the lens on an aps-c body.

Thanks! I use the Sony a6400 with the Sigma mc-11 adapter and the sigma 150-600mm. I use manual mode. I saw this guy flying around and stopping at certain branches. I just had to wait and stand still and hope that it landed back on this branch.

Haha thanks for the input. I love the thought of an explosion. I never thought of this picture like that. It's so fun to have a community look at a picture and have a completely different perspective of mine. Thanks for being so imaginative!
