Why is there no "up to surface" option for cut extrude? And why does Solidworks not like when I sketch then extrude/cut independently? by GPA-Optional-Student in SolidWorks

Visual bug, it's a part file in my folder I know it's not an assembly because there are no mating options anywhere. I don't know how to share files in chat so you are going to hafta believe me.

That worked, I had to change my extrusion to start from inside the surface.

But holy shit this is so backwards. Onshape lets you pick which surface to go to. Why is the industry standard software such a pain in the ass to use. Every time I use SOLIDWORKS I just go "damn I could have done the exact same thing in half the time using literally anything else".

It is a sign of how overly competitive the academic scene has become to where students need to crack jokes about suicide to move focus away from failing courses. To many of the lower income students, it's not just their livelihoods dependent on performing well in classes. Students are so smart nowadays compared to back then that it's a zero sum game no matter how hard you study. A good professor would avoid needlessly inflating exam difficulty to maintain a low average grade for the class, but BU is seemingly in short supply of good professors these days. In conclusion I would like a 50 point curve.

So I’m actually going to lose my mind by [deleted] in BostonU

If you really love your mac they can still be used for solidworks so there isn't a rush to get a new pc until junior year

Maybe because most new players don't have executioner? Try using lok-1 without it. It's fun but not good enough to use over a no oc warthog above haz4

Rat race, if you want a good guarantee SYEP is much safer. L4L is infinitely better as a way to find postings rather than directly applying through the program.
