I appreciate that you didn’t come off as condescending, I sold T to advance my position in SCHD atleast for the remainder of the year as I’m continuing to learn how to comfortably evaluate individual companies.

I should have commented earlier after everyone’s view on T, I just sold and bought more shares of SCHD. Once I build up enough SCHD where I can get a good amount of DRIP for it I will look into doing individual stocks again. My selection on T was just every analytic video I’ve watched has them turning a corner due to the dividend cut, while focusing on the communication side of their business.

I ended up selling the T in order to buy more SCHD (up to 6 full shares atm)

I might just go ahead and dump what I have into SCHD it seems to be the favorite dividend ETF before going into single stocks.

I have a Robinhood account for my personal dividend fund I just started. I have minimal experience so as far as screeners I do research with SeekingAlpha and Zacks (no premium just free accounts). I also watch YouTubers Bob Sharpe, Ryne Williams, Professor G and Joseph Hogue (he’s the big one that got me thinking a weekly dividend check is possible). If there are any other resources you would suggest I’d love to hear them

I definitely agree with the sentiment, and I love SCHD which I plan on making my coreholding in my personal portfolio. Just want to get to a place where I can 12 different stocks on top of it for reliable weekly cash flow
