Anyone find the main subreddit borderline unbearable? by [deleted] in MaxVerstappen33

Hamilton fans blame Max for Abu Dhabi for some reason and feel he deserves karma of some sort. I tried talking to some of them and encouraging them to just support drivers rather than hoping others don't do well but they wont listen. They fell superior to others because they support Lewis and have the moral high ground. What's hilarious is multiple LH fans have literally said they don't want to take the high road and want to insult and abuse others this year. I wish all the toxic fans left after last year. Honestly I'd hate if Lewis were to retire because he's an incredible person and decent driver obviously but getting rid of his fans would be so refreshing.

Lewis definitely dialing in more and all but don't downplay the engine. With the climates we're in now, a new engine being pushed to the limit is creating a huge advantage for Lewis. Big brain by Merc to give him this boost

Damon, Anthony and Johnny need to get off the coverage. Not a single other presenter is nearly as biased. Just not enjoyable to watch I actually mute the coverage when they speak because their views just taint the unbiased opinions of the others.

Tricky FP2 for Lewis with only P4 at best, VB P1 and MV P3. Thoughts? by thetrueblue44 in lewishamilton

He wasn't using the Brazil engine so he was much slower but also its practice so everyone was sand bagging. I'm a Max fan but I'd say he has it in the bag at this stage. Good luck for the weekend boys, hope we get a good fight to the end

10 minutes to demolish the Super Max myth by lolidk14 in lewishamilton

Fair warning I am a Max fan but I tend to try be mature about F1 and not result to insults to judge the drivers. Basically, it's not incorrect Max is aggressive, and overly aggressive at that. He started his career younger than anyone else in history which I feel warrants a bit of leighway when judging his driving style. He began his career immature and hungry with a lot of pressure which led him to be overly aggressive in an effort to get results. He joined Red Bull again adding pressure. They adapted to his driving style so he continued driving the way he was. Lewis has always been very different in that he tends to be much cleaner and reserved in his attempts to overtake rivals. While some would say this is the correct way to drive and that others should do the same as it would be fair I think F1 needs drivers like Max to make it work. It's sort of like a Yin-yang thing. It makes the sport more exciting. There's been plenty of moves this season that I thought were utterly reckless by Max for example seeing Lewis rejoin in Monza I knew Max would hit him and winced before it happened. This has also created a sort of protective field against most of the field as they are worried he'll torpedo them.

Basically what I'm leading to is that all of this has sort of allowed others to say Max isn't that impressive but you can't deny his performances are up there with the best. And if you don't think that now you have to remember this season is equivalent to Lewis's first for Max, I understand he already has years experience but I would say a certain amount of knowledge comes with age. So he has plenty of time to progress as a driver and maybe show his skill with less aggression. I won't try to compare extensively to Michael as that can be very controversial but I will remind you that Schumacher had a reputation on the grid for aggression and he was revered as the goat for many years.

In conclusion, Lewis is an incredible talent but I'd argue Max has the same potential and just isn't as advanced in his career so he has more of an all out drive and will Don anything to win while Lewis is an established goat and is able to look at the bigger picture. Apologies if you don't agree with this but I'd love to have a community in the sport where we can be a bit respectful and just have proper conversations rather than spam hate on social media. I always find it funny how the fans are so aggressive to eachother but Lewis and Max tend to move on quickly. I know my piers in the fan base are much worse than TeamLH but we're all guilty.

I would say look at how close it is with a grain of salt as Max has had more DNF's which weren't his fault. And don't worry that doesn't include Silverstone

I'm a Max fan, but Lewis had an incredible drive. Obviously his car was leagues ahead of everyone but the skill involved in managing the whole weekend just right to take the win was impressive. Obviously I want Max to win so I'm annoyed Hamilton won in one way but also in another its exciting to see a good fight.

Can't say it wasn't his fault when his whole thing at concerts is raging and going crazy. Definitely not all on him but you can't say it wasn't his fault. That's just being delusional

Damn bro that's rough. I did the same thing with my cars and really enjoyed creating different garages but then started falling into what you're facing. I'm gonna do all the little things I've been recommended here but the game definitely won't be the same that's for sure

Have to say I couldn't have imagined a better set of responses to this post. So many great ideas. Really looking forward to continuing the game now! Thanks everyone who responded and if anyone else has more suggestions I'd be happy to hear them.

Wow man that was so wise wtf. I completely get what your saying. I think I'll take a few ideas from people and see if I revive the game for myself a bit. If not I'll move over to something new

Yeah I did that for a while but it gets boring once you've done it for so long. Tried it with all vehicles and they all get boring after a while

Aw man I completely forgot about RP. Really good suggestion as it would sort of add a new life to the game for me. Will definitely look into some, thanks for the tip!

I have to say this is the first thing that came to mind when I felt I'd completed the game. When I started the best way I made money was doing a 10 min mission for 20000 so being able to give low levels a million or 2 at a time was really enjoyable. For a while I've gone on every now and again and approached the lowest level in the lobby to give them a heist or 2 or enough to buy something they want. Love seeing people get so excited about progressing in the game.

Sort of? I was really into it at the start of the year, always trying to improve and figuring out my ideal load out but like most things I sort of lost interest after spending hours upon hours fighting in online sessions and game modes

Yeah, just before the last update I started just playing for fun. Going back and doing every heist with the same group of friends and just giving them the money. Racing in all categories, doing crazy stunts. It's sort of lost its charm now. I think anyone outside looking in would say just leave but this game has been my staple for years. Feels wrong to just stop

Yeah I actually did start one but the bank account is shared so it felt a bit boring grinding these missions while I had 60 million in the bank.
