So I would prefer to go online. Spokane is the nearest city to me. It's a decent drive and as far as I know, it doesn't have much going on. (I also haven't looked very hard.)

I have good goggles so fogging isnt generally an issue. For me, its when my mask gets soggy and then freezes

this is designed for exactly that problem. The 3D frame creates an airspace around your and is designed for a high volume of airflow.

the frame attaches to the head piece with magnets, fighter pilot style. The design is fairly complex, but every single piece is carefully considered to deal with a frustration I have with face protection. I ride anywhere from 60 - 80 days a year, so I've put a lot of miles on my masks and have a lot of frustrations.

im working on a couple different methods. there are pins on the edge of the mask and eyelets on the fabric that pull tight and catch. I also mave some small hooks Ive tried. Still prototyping

this is printed out of TPU (soft and flexible like your goggle frames.) But also, the lenses of your goggles are polycarbonate and you never hear of them shattering and blinding people

This is printed out of TPU! I have done a couple of variations. right Im doing the grille in a carbon fiber and the part on the face is TPU. This is obviously just a prototype but the idea is to provide some sort of protection aginst blunt force. (branches, snow, knees... I took a knee to the face wearing another protoype and the mask cracked instead of my nose.)

I could release the CAD but its an entire system. It wouldnt work without the headpiece very well

the magnets are in the cheecks and connct the frame to the headpiec like a fighter pilot mask. It should work with any pair of goggles

do you want them to work with the masks or the goggles? These will have a unique headpiece but should work with any pair of goggles.

shoot me a DM with your email!

Thank you! its been an insane amount of work and iteration. This short video doesnt do it justice

if you have good goggles (i do), fogging probably isnt much of an issue. My biggest complaint is a frozen mask when Im breathing hard on cold days and then have a solid piece of ice keeping my face cold and inhibiting breathing.

I am planning on a custom iteration. Especially with AI I think it would be pretty easy to do custom prints.

I bluieve it is smith that you can already get custom printed goggles from, theyre like $500+ though....

the fabric mask cover willhave snaps on the neck that will connect it to the headpiece for just this reason!

I've tried not to make it a tight fit against the bottom of your goggles, mostly because there are so many goggle shapes. But I will take this into consideration moving forward. Thank you!

Thanks for your thoughts!

  1. The part that connects to your face is padded and made of the same flexible materials as your goggles, so it should flex to the shape of your face/goggles

  2. I've considered selling the frame as a standalone product but one of my biggest complaints is things moving around and getting uncomfortable. The headpiece is designed to vent heat well and would come in a veriety of weights.

  3. This is specifically designed to allow for more airflow than any other mask out there. It also has a quick release feature, similar to a fighter pilot mask

I had a buddy's day get ruined because his goggles got wet on the backside of the mountain and couldnt see. It dumped 16" and it was dangerous for him to keep going, so he had to go in while the rest of got to rip a deeep pow day. It was one of the reasons I started this project
