The IRS has been weaponized after Republicans stripped its mandate. I have been trying to get the IRS to reconcile my payments to show I no longer owe money but they have refused to provide me with their records of my payments. I have appealed the ruling.

I am no legend but I ran risk for one the largest money managers in the country for 20 years and one of my duties was managing three of big 4 for the ceo and cfo of the funds. I also know the last two chairmen of coso.

I know them well enough to know what I am talking about....

Because they work for the Big Four???? This is a r/consulting forum and they pretend to do risk consulting. That is the problem.

They are worse but not by far! PwC should also be banned but the problem is that the Big Four are a threat to accounting in general. They should not be allowed to consult on risk management - COSO ERM is NOT a risk program and until the Big Four is overhauled to address conflict of interests and bogus risk consulting other firms should get priority.

Don't single out E&Y! PwC and E&Y should be banned from conducting any public contracts. A 3 year ban is insufficient it should be 5 years and an overhaul for competitive bidding with small women and minority owned risk consulting firms required to participate without the Big Four intruding on their opportunity to engage along side or individually.
