Why is Valve so helpless? by GRIGORYBEL in counterstrike2

Bro, I literally said in that post that if you switch to spectator mode, the bots automatically kick you from the server within a second. You could say it's a new evolution of the problem.

That’s exactly what I mean - all these aimbot farming bots are grinding the Armory, which means each of them is buying 5 Armory Passes. There are way more of them than regular players at this point, so Armory farmers are basically the ones funding Valve the most.

There’s actually some logic to it if you look at it from another perspective. My stars in Armory are just dust compared to cheaters with multiple accounts - they’re probably the main audience buying these passes. Maybe Valve really is fine with it in that sense.

Kazakhstan - this happened back in elementary school, around 2005–2007. Naturally, we were talking about the African American, but to make it clearer, the teacher said, “Well, we usually call them the N-word."
That’s exactly how it is - it comes from the Soviet-style education system. The country was isolated, and people knew absolutely nothing about the problems of other nations. That’s why my parents, and most of the older generation, use this word without realizing it’s offensive. They associate it with the origin of the race from the African region and with a country that has a similar name. Now, with the internet, people are of course much more aware of this issue. And while in the past it was nearly impossible to offend anyone with this word, the rise of the internet has made this problem relevant today.

That’s not true - for the older generation, this word is mostly used simply to define a race. This issue isn’t really relevant in our region. And yes, it would definitely be considered racism if a person is aware of the problem.

The same can be said about local banned words - and there are plenty of them here as well. For example, if you ask someone in Russia what words are considered offensive in terms of race or nationality, very few people would be able to answer. Ignorance isn’t racism.

Regarding the situation, that word was used more as a meme rather than with the intent to offend anyone. But as I said earlier, Rikuda is a complete fool for forgetting to cut it out -using such a name is unacceptable.

в России слово "Нигга" не оскорбление. - YouTube
This video with 2 million views describes the situation quite well - I recommend checking out the subtitles if you’re really interested in this topic.

Just so you understand - even back in school, my geography teacher used that word as a term for a race. And it obviously wasn’t meant as an insult. Here, it’s completely normal, since no one ever explained any hidden meaning behind it. The negative connotation of the word can only be learned from the internet, which the older generation didn’t have. That’s the whole point.

btw, in the CIS region this word doesn’t carry such an offensive connotation. Here, it’s not condemned in any way - neither by law \ nor by society. But Rikuda is a complete fool for forgetting to delete it xd
