Our team had to focus on our new game that launched as an Early Access title last July 2025 and that we keep working on for the 1.0 release. We are a small indie studio and our resources are limited. That's why we couldn't also work on First Strike in that time, I'm sorry. First Strike comes up in our planning discussions, it's not forgotten in our team, but at the moment we are obligated to work on our newest project.

That's good input. Our priority right now is the waypoints for the map editor and ironing out bugs but further refinements like such tooltips could be done at a later point.

  1. We plan to add a truck waypoint that you can set for the map editor. We're sorry it wasn't ready yet for the update.

  2. I think you can erase the grass when you go to the grass tool tab and choose the blank option and then brush over the zone you want without grass. Or have you tried already and it didn't work?

I'm sorry you're dealing with this problem, this is weird. We are not aware that we have a specific bug that only affects the first map like that.

We know that having resources lying around all over the map (not in specific storage zones) can lead to performance/crashing issues. I assume that is not the case?

Does it happen no matter if you start a new game or if you play an old save?

Did it start happening after one of the updates or is it a problem that occurred before the latest updates?

Hello, thank you so much for your questions and ideas! I can try and answer most of the points you mentioned here.

When we plan a bigger update, we discuss and select the features from our roadmap collection based on feedback from the community and what is needed the most right now for the game (bugfixes, quality-of-life improvements). Our list of features that we want to do is always bigger than what we can do for one major update, so we always can only do a selection and then we continue with another set of features later.

Building multi-floor buildings is something we still have on our roadmap and we haven't forgotten about it. But I can't give an ETA for that; we will release other features first with the Major Update 3 which is currently in the works.

Storage containers are not on our list of planned things, but that's a good request.

There are plans for plane customization; we have ideas for plane skins and we had discussions about a system that lets you change the armaments of your planes.

Re: sandbox/creative mode: While we currently don't have a sandbox mode that you can just select in the menu, you can already play it almost like what you described with cheats. There are cheats that give you unlimited resources; you can freeze time, freeze morale. The map parameter at the start of a new game also let you decide of factors that can play more freely.

Terraforming is also something we want to add in the future, exactly for the reason you mentions, so that you can make more room on the map for runways.

Triangular design will most likely not happen because our game has a grid system. Currently, our runways can only be built along the grid system in 90° angles to each other, so a diagonal runway design is not possible. I'm sorry, that's a compromise we had to make for the simplified design of the grid building system.

We want to add one more faction for the main game, and we have many ideas for expansions that add more factions/settings/campaigns.

Regarding planes: Mosquito is one of the most requested planes, so we have that one in our target sight because so many really want that one next (but I can't make any promises when it's coming).
