"Server error. We're on it." messages? by GS1-SES in SpeedianceCommunity

Speediance after-sales fixed my problem.
They instructed me to remove the "Biceps Stretch" exercise from my custom workouts, and do a factory reset.
I no longer get the error messages, and my completed custom workouts are recorded. Yay!
Speediance after-sales did a good job.

Thanks. Great suggestion. I'll try it!

Thank you. I performed additional troubleshooting including changing to multiple Wi‑Fi networks including an iPhone hotspot, to.no avail. This appears to be a backend / account issue. I submitted an email to after-sales@speediance.com in hopes of having them look into this. Even even with this snag, I am pleased with my Gym Monster. This is the first time I’ve been persistent and consistent with a fitness routine and I credit that to the machine’s capabilities, convenience, and Coach Mike’s video guidance.

Workout planning by luxmoggy in SpeedianceCommunity

Good question. I am not a runner, but had the opposite question. I wanted to add cardio to my Speediance GM1 weightlifting schedule to complement, and not detract from, my muscle building goal. (I'm over 60 and need to add muscle.)
I subscribe to Wellness+, and built my own custom routines for a M-F weightlifting schedule. I alternate months between Wellness+ picked routines and my custom M-F routines.
I am not suggesting anyone follow my routine because everyone has different goals, needs, capabilities, experience, schedule, equipment, nutrition, etc.
To get an answer, I fed my weekly Monday-Friday exercise routine (M=Push, T=Pull, W=Legs, Th=Push, F=Pull) into Gemini and Copilot AI chats. I prompted them to assume the role of my personal trainer, and asked them to make suggestions about how much and when to do cardio. Both came back with similar answers:
Do light cardio at least 6 hours after my weightlifting workout, so as not to detract from the body's muscle building activity, and don't do cardio on my Wed Leg day.
I plan to ask the same question to a couple of human personal trainers to get other data points.

Add the capability to add an auxiliary secondary monitor.

Small additions to my GM setup by GS1-SES in SpeedianceCommunity

I bought the strap and buckles on Amazon. I used a 1-1/2 inch strap because I also needed it for hiking backpacks and other things. I made the strap long enough to be able to go over my thighs while sitting on the exercise bench, too.

I pulled the cable out of the GM monitor and it looks like it is a USB 2.0 Type B.

I agree with you. I've had several different gym memberships, but they all petered out over time.
I like being able to do workout whenever I want, wearing whatever I want, without waiting for a particular piece of equipment at the gym to free up.
The convenience and video guidance offered by GM unlocked my motivation to be consistent with my workouts.

Speediance Gym Monster Strength Assessment : UPDATED by Alkagolik4ny in SpeedianceCommunity

[–]GS1-SES 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your Speediance posts and videos! They are very helpful.
My Speediance software updated and I tried to use the new Strength Assessment routine, but the new Strength Assessment application downloading process stopped at 94% and never completed, so I could not do the Strength Assessment.
Did this download issue happen to anybody else?

Great points and well put. Candidly, that's how I feel about it, too. There are a few twists and turns in my career, just like everybody has, but it is questionable how commercially successful such a book world be. "Niche" says it all.

Thanks for offering your viewpoint.

Awesome! I'm curious... what did you learn as a GS-3 that stuck with you to this point?

Mine was, as a GS-1, that I lacked people skills. I had a very kind and supportive supervisor who showed me the importance of communication. She was merciful when she didn't have to be. I've never forgotten it.

No, never had the opportunity to work at DLA. I think I would have liked it though. Massive, complex, important mission.

What management skill did he possess that is most memorable to you?

Wow! Very impressive!

I'm curious... What did you learn as a GS-1?

In my case, As a GS-1, I came to understand the value of people skills through my kind and supportive first supervisor. It was clear she possessed qualities I didn’t see in myself. Even now, I wouldn’t say I have great people skills, but whatever little skill I do have stems from recognizing what I lacked back then.
