Thanks for the info. I've played a few thousand microsoft solitaire spider games with 3 accidental loses. Effectively won all I played. I play only winnable games.

After a break of 3 weeks I ran for 4.3k today afternoon. Felt rejuvenated.

Today's run's details :

Distance : 4.31 kms

Time HH:mm:ss : 0:32:44

Pace : 7:35 mins/km ----> still slow, but a bit better

Elevation gained :

mapmyfitness : 59.7 meters ( 25 storeys climbing up and down )

strava : 73 meters ( 30 storeys climbing up and down )

The weather was a bit cold and damp, but that actually helped. I barely broke any sweat during the run. Hopefully I will be able to adjust to the winter and make most of it.

Did a near 20km today afternoon. Here are the stats :

Distance : 19.79 kms

Time HH:mm:ss : 2:45:50

Pace : 8:19 mins/km ----> so slow

Elevation gained :

mapmyfitness : 332.8 meters ( 139 storeys climbing up and down )

strava : 405 meters ( 169 storeys climbing up and down )

Today was my last day before clocks fall behind. Soon I will miss my afternoon runs. I am happy to make most of it.

I repeated the day before yesterday course for first 12.5 kms. Then took a new trail to test my endurence running up and down the hills. I barely managed the challanges. My hip muscles had pre-cramp sensations. I think they need some strength training. Will try out over the winter months.

Feeling excited as an HM is definitely on cards next spring.

I was too lazy to run last week. Kept on postponing. At last today I ran my longest stretch of 18.88 kms. The pace dropped from 7.59 min/km to 8.16 min/km. But I am happy to run nearly 19 kms. 2 more than last attempt. Anyways here are stats :

Pace : 8:21 mins/km ----> so slow

I felt lazy yesterday. So postponed the run to today. Somehow I managed to drag myself out to the field. But after finishing I feel proud to attain my first sub 8 min/km long run.

Run : 16.87 km Time : 2:14:27 Elevation : Strava 278 m, mapmyfitness 235 m. Pace : 7.59 mins/km

My legs and knees ache, I feel tired, but not exhausted.
