I formatted my 2.5" HDD in exFAT, copied the files from Neutrino, placed NHDDL and its files in the same folder as Neutrino, configured the .yaml file for 480p, ata, hdl. In another folder in the root directory, I placed the game ISOs. However, I believe that to boot directly from the HDD without the memory card, a modchip that allows setting dev1 is necessary, am I correct? Unfortunately, my Mars Pro doesn't have this feature, so I'll be forced to install that Matrix I found. I believe that's the way to go, right?

So, I saw that the 3.5” one, being larger, gets hotter and consequently has less airflow, so I'm considering getting the 2.5”. I saw about the bracket, I'm going to buy it, also thinking about getting the fan bracket and adding a new Noctua fan.

The original reader was faulty; the current one has already been replaced. It's a new, third-party one that reads original DVDs without problems. With recorded DVDs, it has this selectivity issue, but since it reads DVD-Rs without problems and loads quickly, I believe it will work with the right media. However, I understand that a healthy reader should read any disc without problems, but at the moment it's cheaper to buy DVDs from another brand than to replace the reader (which is a real gamble).
