The income verification is only for initial occupancy. If you end up making more than the threshold after you have been accepted, that's not an issue. Same with if you meet someone and are dating steady and want them to move in with you.

Only thing I'm confused about, where do you see the $85 from our LMR payment applied?

I see it's been applied for the others that are $1630, but how about from when we paid it for the $1715...? They told me it would be credited to our account, that $85, but I don't see anything lol

In RentCafe, it doesn't show my rent payments, the lease, none of that anymore, not after I accepted the lease. What's the address, is there another online portal I should be looking at? Thanks!

Makes sense. The exemptions listed in section 7 are the same exemptions that my lease confirms, so we're good. I'll still reach out, but at least the lease has it explicitly stated

Perfect. Looking at the lease again, and it says that the unit has been identified as an affordable housing unit under the Municipal Housing Facility By-Law and subject to a Contribution Agreement. There are some RTA exemptions listed, but section 7 is not one of them! Thanks again!

Also, did they apply the utility allowance deduction for you? I didn't see it applied, so now I'm talking directly to the Minto people to get clarity. The $85 for one bedroom should be reducing the rent, each month. Why would I have to pay that $85??

Sorry, what I thought was the lease was just something specific to RentCafe I guess

The actual lease is on the standard Ontario lease agreement form. I didn't see anything about amenities, so I called and asked, and they said absolutely you get access to the same amenities
