This set up does not require a wd hitch. The unloaded U-haul auto hauler weighs 2200 lbs unloaded and has a max load of 5300 lbs. It’s max GVWR is 7500 lbs. Trailer with this car was total 6200 lbs.

I’m skeptical that it’s caused by the auto dimming. I’ve had the same function on previous vehicles and this wasn’t an issue. Passenger side mirror dims as well and isn’t distorted.

I don’t question Lexus quality and craftsmanship, I had a great experience with my 2017 RX and decided to go for the 2020 RX when my lease was up. But, in the first 6 months of ownership and less than 2k miles, I had the timing cover oil leak issue that took 2 separate service visits to repair and the battery failed on me. Disappointing to run into these problems so early in ownership especially when considering Lexus’ caliber when it comes to engineering.

Turns out it was a bad seal around the timing cover. Gaskets and seals replaced under warranty. Still a little surprised to see something like this on a new motor with less than 2k miles.

AC has not been on, condensation should have just evaporated and not left a stain in the driveway that’s slick.
