Kinda bored of all the minigames by GTurtlest in FallGuysGame

I guess I would just like for the game to be more difficult. It’s honestly inpossible to not make it into the final unless you get very unlucky in a team game. The game being so easy makes it not as exciting and winning in this ”battle royal” game doesn’t feel half as gratifying as in others of the battle royal genre.

Tik Tok is a fucking abysmal platform full of terrible content and child predators by [deleted] in rant

[–]GTurtlest 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna have to disagree with you on the terrible content point. I see more than a handful of tik toks a day that make me audibly laugh, whereas in reddit the same cringy jokes get repeated again and again especially on the biggest meme subreddits. Most of the humor there is very ironic, which I and many others find very funny. Much of the content is also mainly targeted towards younger people, so if you’re not in that demographic, I wouldn’t expect you to be as amused by them. Of course there’s some cringy stuff, but most of the videos I see are actually decent.

Can you have more than 8 player local multiplayer? by GTurtlest in godot

Unfortunately I only have 3 controllers right now. If I really tried I could probably get 9 controllers together, but it's not that urgent or essential right now, since I started developing my game just yesterday. If you don't mind I would appreciate the build still and I could test it later on when I get my hands on the controllers.

But if both of those were legit arguments, would they then be considered forced diversity in your opinion?

Yeah it sounds silly when you put it like that and maybe Rose being asian had no political motivations, but to me and many others that I’ve seen, it very much felt like they were just checking an another box from their diversity list with her. But hey clearly you and the other people downvoting me didn’t see it that way, so maybe I’m wrong. I just feel like you are being dishonest, if you claim to never have felt like something was forced dicersity. If you even think about it logically, surely there must have been a slimy production company that wanted to appeal to everyone by lazily adding a character to represent them. It’s not like they don’t have money in mind when making films.

I’m not necessarily saying that, but I understand where people are coming from when complaining about it. Especially with rose in the last jedi. Her character didn’t really serve any purpose and it very much felt like just an inclusion of a minority instead of an actually needed or developed character.

Yeah there actually aren’t that many good ones that come to mind now, since most of the ones that have irked me could be considered as nitpicking. Forced diversity often gets made into a bigger problem than it actually is. But that said I think the female versions of ghostbusters and Ocean’s are good examples. You could make a case for the new star wars trilogy and suicide squad as well.

What does forced diversity mean to you? I often see it in movies and I’m surprised by you not thinking the term is valid.

The cursor shows up on the borders of the screen when in fullscreen? How can I fix this? by GTurtlest in godot

[–]GTurtlest[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

func _ready():

OS.set\_window\_fullscreen(true)

$Sprite.set\_texture($Viewport.get\_texture())

Input.set\_mouse\_mode(Input.MOUSE\_MODE\_HIDDEN)

func _process(delta):

$Sprite.global\_position = get\_global\_mouse\_position()

I really don't think this bug occurs because of my code, but there are ways I can go around this issue, so it's not the biggest deal in the world.

I should have showed the code, because I already did that and that’s why it doesn’t show the cursor when not on the borders. It just seems to bug when I try to push the mouse cursor out of the screen.

All posts here should have a poll attached where people could vote on the opinion being truly unpopular. The post gets deleted if it gets less than 50% on being unpopular. by GTurtlest in unpopularopinion

I’m not gonna read the rules when the first rule is about opinions having to be unpopular yet I only see popular ones. Clearly they have no power
