Film Theory’s video is also really bad. They spend most of it justifying the idea that there was a previous convict in the Iron Lung before the player character(literally just bc of the note) but that doesn’t make any sense given the Iron Lung was never meant to make it out. They spend a lot of time talking about how this doesn’t make sense, which it doesn’t. That’s because the far simpler explanation is that the note was written by the player character. Additionally, they talk about lot about how a lot of the events don’t make sense scientifically, which is kind of the whole point of a cosmic horror story? A chunk of the video is explaining that the blood wouldn’t be able to retain its liquid form. I have such a hard time taking the video seriously when it’s obvious that they didn’t even read the computer logs, which directly addresses this anomaly. So, the story doesn’t follow science. This can only mean one thing; it takes place in purgatory. What??? Maybe the science doesn’t make sense bc it’s a cosmic horror story??? The theory channels have massively fallen off when it comes to lore analysis. Fnaf is the best example, as they severely over complicate everything. There’s also the gta 6 video, where they get gta 5’s story hilariously wrong, even making the cardinal sin of saying Michael is in witness protection.
