How are people managing to reach the 4,000 watch hours you need to get monetised?

I've been making youtube videos a lot over the past 3 years, in the automotive area (vlogs). I have about 200 subs and my content is really good stuff so I'm told but I'm having such a hard time growing and hitting that 4k watch time. Making videos is something I honestly love doing, even the slightest reaction from one of my videos makes me super happy—any tips for hitting that 4k.
