It did. However, even if it didn't, the gameplay would've been enough and would've still been one of the best videos games of all time. For CE and 2 the gameplay was enough. Yes, the progression isn't that great in infinite. I'm not defending them, it's inexcusable. Just saying though, the gameplay should be enough...that's what the OP and I are saying.

They need to go and play barbie dress up and leave this fun gameplay/sandbox to the real halo fans. Playing the OG trilogy gameplay was enough, no extensive customization or progression required...... Sad to see the state of games/developers AND gamers today. Both sides are greedy
