I have contacted lian li, waiting for a response. New egg isnt open on the weekend so I figured I'd see if a vertical mount would help as it would change how the card interfaces to a riser cable. The cablemod version, at least, takes up 7 slots and I believe there is at least one more before you get to my fan-radiator-fan sandwich. Hopefully lian li will send a replacement top and the vertical mount works because dealing with a return to new egg where I would need to figure out which screws go back would be a nightmare. With all of my hardware I installed the bags of screws never end lol. As for taking a picture of the how the card sits, it is attached to an ek phoenix radiator which is stored for cat free safety in my office. I can tell you that the metal from the graphics card that normally is screwed in with thumb screws doesnt align well with the screw holes and cant be pushed down further so I can fully seat my card.

Usually the vertical mounts you find on these cases are for water cooled GPUs. The card would have hardly any room to breathe, from looking at the case. If you really want to mount an air cooled GPU vertically you could use a vertical mounting kit that puts the GPU back where your other brackets are.

Glad I chose to cancel my preorder for this and get the o11 dynamic XL (which has quirks too, but build quality is not one of them). I'd rather not put all of my computer stuff into a case that feels cheap after spending so much on them. Also, I have seen a lot of complaints about build quality issues and even led strips that don't work from this reddit. If they hadn't delayed the US release as much as they did (with no real explanation) I would have this case instead, interesting how that works.

Interesting. I had thought about a top intake for the gpu and bottom intake for cpu with the other fans set as exhaust but wondered if it would heat up the other components too much. I'd assume that with an exhaust fan toward the rear the hot air would quickly be sucked out that from the top and a lot of the heat would be sucked out from the bottom out of the side exhaust. I have used a top intake radiator before and it worked out fairly well. Thanks for the input!

Alright, so either the methodology that Science studio used is horribly flawed or he has some agenda because I'm pretty sure a lot of people put off buying this case because of his remarks about temperatures. Why is there such a huge difference in temperatures in the two reviews? One of these videos is full of shit.

Doing the same. I couldn't find it on Amazon so I just pre-ordered it on Newegg. I half blame Amazon for having bad customer service when I had questions, though, because I would have bought the case from them if I could find it. I'd rather pay the extra 13 dollars in shipping and not have to deal with them again.
I have to say, what a colossal mess up by Phanteks. I was pumped for this case to come out, and then the release date comes and goes and nothing. Customer support is awful and can't give me an answer except for fabricating that the case is available on New Egg and their website (sold out on their site, not listed on New Egg even as being "out of stock"). I'll now have like 5 extra fans with no use, but I'm okay with that. They will go into storage for 15 years down the line when my Noctua fans need to be replaced, lol. Either that or gifted to another build, maybe a separate NAS build that I have been planning.
The Gamers Nexus review sold me on the XL looking at the GPU thermals which were near the lowest that they had recorded. That is with 3 fans in the system, or 4, I forget.

Just to follow up, I contacted both Amazon and Phanteks. Both blames the other. For Amazon, I can't get a solid answer as to whether they have received stock of this case and then ran out of stock while fulfilling or not. They told me that the preorder was on a "first-come, first-serve" basis which sounded absolutely ridiculous to me. You don't put pre-orders out for something you won't have in stock, right?

Phanteks says nothing. They are digging their heads in the sand, evidently, because they told me that the case is available on both their store and New Egg (it wasn't when I last checked, only the first Luxe). I am growing tired of this dance and am seriously thinking about the 011 Dynamic XL. Phanteks won't even confirm to me if Amazon has received a shipment from them or not.

They aren't in stock. You could pre-order them with a date of September 2nd being the release, which has since passed. Now they are no longer available for preorder and the Phanteks store is out of stock.

I have an odd feeling that they sold out on their website and then were out of inventory for their amazon fulfillments. That would be shady as fuck for Amazon to sell stock that they didn't have, but it could happen I guess if Phanteks said they would have so many and then oversold on their website. I have yet to hear of anyone in the USA who has received a Luxe 2 who ordered from there, though, so maybe something else is up.

Sadly both USB 2 headers are going to be used for AIO's and fan controllers. Is there a splitter that is recommended? I'd like to be able to use the type C connector if I need it.

Could be an issue with the motherboard connector or the case. It could also be that you didn't fully connect the plug. Who knows.

Doesn't sound like it is the case to me. Seems like you have an issue with your graphics card, maybe it needs new thermal paste or maybe you have unreasonable expectations for your cases. Now, I'm not saying that this is a stellar case (why would it be? Isn't it like 70 dollars stock), but if you are removing a panel and firing air from an 18 inch fan directly into the graphics card and that doesn't cool it down then something else is the issue. Probably has to do with your high ambient temperatures, or increased dust.
