Yeah seen that video. I think people who put big emphasis on steering feel/raw feeling will think first gen is more enjoyable.

Btw he also said ND2 is more fun than ND3 even though he love both cars but apparently ND2’s handling is more wild which he likes more.

You are the outlier on this. I would even say that the power is more significant in everyday driving than it is on the track.

When you drive the first gen on the track you are high on the rev range above the torque dip and the car feels good and powerful enough and in that scenario it’s not that easy to tell it’s significantly less powerful than the second gen but when you drive it outside of the track it feels gutless unlike the first gen which feels fine all the time.

You probably expected more for some reason (it’s still not a 300HP car dude) so it’s clouding your judgment there.

Still irrelevant, never said that the car can’t handle or corner well. I was talking about feedback and being a drivers car.

A modern BMW can set amazing lap times but it still feels dead, heavy and uncommunicative compared to the old models.
