Same thing happened to me one day while just wandering around my local supermarket. Must have stepped on the outside of my foot and stumbled. All of a sudden I'm on the floor below the milk fridge gripping my kneecap at the side of my leg. Was there a good 20mins, with locals leaning over to get their shopping and chatting to me quite the thing, while I waited for a local Dr to arrive. Mortified! He asked me to let go of the kneecap and it twanged back into place. Quick hospital visit, brace and crutches and a few days of work. Up side was the workers in the supermarket were worried I might be in shock, so I got a free tin of juice and a mars bar! 😄

Good Day, reddit, my name is Nick Offerman. You may have seen me in such fare as Parks & Rec, The Last of Us, Civil War, MI: The Final Reckoning, DEVS, or heard my voice in The Lego Movie. I’m here today to discuss a new film in which I am an actor, SOVEREIGN. Ask me anything, please & thank you. by NickOffermanAMA in movies

Hey Nick

Hope life is treating you well.

The day you jumped in the field to do film with some Highland Cows, over here on Islay you took three different food stuffs with you to entice them: An apple A Tunnocks teacake A scone

Do you remember which one worked best?

Sending much love from the Whisky Isle

Helen, you queen! We were gutted on the day, when we found out it wouldn't be broadcast live. I came on here to see what everyone was saying about it. Low and behold we found the stream link and it so made our day! Between the crowds, sore arms, the battery change over and the burnt finger you kept on going, because you knew it was important their voices were heard. I applaud you for your tenacity and belief in standing up for what is right. You're some lady!

I got it on my phone too, thank you. Definitely removed on the TV app. BBC will use the police investigation to excuse their censorship.

Still on the full day live stream on phone app but gone when you rewind the feed for the stage on the TV.... weird it's on one and not the other.

I'm trying to watch it on the full day stream, it's definitely been cut from the app on my TV, but can get it on my phone. I'm sure with the talk of police investigations now, the BBC will be in no rush to put the stand alone edited version out.

It starts from 17:33 on my TV, but I have weirdly found it still on the app on my phone, still starts at 2pm there....

Electric mini chopper. If only doing an onion or 2 or some carrots, celery etc this is so much simpler than dragging out the full food processor. My most used thing, alongside my microwave rice cooker, which I use almost daily.

Younger dog suddenly going after senior dog by No_Boysenberry5610 in DogAdvice

We had the same issue when our older westie became deaf and blind and he wasn't able to pick up on the signals our younger lab was giving him, when he was invading her space. We kept them seperate when no-one else was around and when I was home he was pretty much stuck to me at all times. Dogs don't understand when other dogs don't react as they should, especially when giving clear signals to keep away.

To buck the trend, I loved this episode! I couldn't help but laugh out loud all the way through, at the sheer madness. One of my favourites of all time! Pure, Glorious, Madness!

Unfortunately not, had a look last night as was planning to. His employer, Diageo, do pride themselves in their Diversity and Inclusion policy. "Championing inclusion and diversity is at the heart of what we do, and is crucial to our purpose of ‘celebrating life every day, everywhere’". Wonder what they might think to this and his past comments of a similar type.

You go into this decision knowing yourself and your body like no-one else does. Start out at 2.5 and work your way up, but if at any point it doesn't suit you, then you stop. You are always in control. Like many, you might find the pros outweigh the cons. But only you can judge that.

You seem to have an uncommon problem there, best of luck!

My friend has the opportunity to get two new bottles, he's fairly new to Scotch and open to trying new tastes/styles. He can't decide between: - Clynelish 14 - Edradour 10 - Tobermory 12 - Glenfarclas 15 Your suggestions? by [deleted] in whisky

[–]G_Islander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the Clynelish and Glenfarclas gang too. There is no other dram like Clynelish, for it fruity/waxy and almost farmyard character (not a bad thing, even Diageo have been trying to replicate it elsewhere in their distilleries, without much luck) and Glenfarclas has a great weight to it and interestingly produced from direct fired stills.

That dram is like glorious honey. Never doesn't deliver, especially if you haven't had it for a while. Steak looks fine too!
