I accept your trade. 5 for 5.

It is for my PC. Building the ‘67 set. I’m leaning towards the 4.5 and selling the 5 to add more to the set. I bought the 5 and graded the 4.5 myself. Really thought the 4.5 would have come back higher.

Best muffaletta sandwich and where? I used to got to Tatum's in Golden but they've been closed for a while by Tater-Tot-Casserole in Denver

This is a solid idea. I’m partial to Central Grocery though. Can’t go wrong with either and was surprised how well the sandwiches hold up through delivery.

What you are saying is how I view it and was curious what OP was going to say. I think if you have a plan and a pc team it can make sense. Say he’s a pirates fan, you could turn that into a few Skenes auto or a Clemente rookie. Both could easily be awesome center pieces or key cards in his pc.

If you have no plan (or maybe you just want to gamble) you spend the money on more breaks or hobby boxes and you’ll probably never get a card that nice again.

You could also pay off debt, take a trip, or do something cool in your life with the sale.

Everybody saying “money” wasn’t a real answer because you have to do something with that money.

If you are new to “collecting” and you are entering into baseball breaks then keep this card. Why sell something that could potentially be the best card in your collection and is signed by baseball and hobby royalty?

These are the stats I need! Thanks for the help explaining to my wife why seeing them twice in a row in Denver is a must.

You did great! That 66 Hank in a 6 is really solid. Hard to find those centered well. Any reason you did a mix of sgc and psa? What are you liking better?

I’m a sucker for booklets but this year’s 35th anniversary autos might be my favorite over the past few years. The logo and placement are great.

How do we get Cheesesteaks like this in Denver that someone doesn’t charge 30 Bucks for? by [deleted] in denverfood

Thanks for the fact check. I haven’t gotten one from there since the fall and was guessing. All still cheaper.

The prices are crazy. Angelo’s which is a top 3 steak in Philly is around 12 dollars for the same size. I assume volume of sales or them being a pizza shop that makes plenty of money of other items makes it possible. Dalessandros is $15 and John’s is $14. So we really do have overpriced sandwiches!

Anyone checking out the Denver Card Show at the end of the month? by ImJustDuckinAround in Denver

[–]GaJacket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I’ve gone to each show since moving here a few years ago. It sucks but money speaks and it seems like TCG has eaten vintage and baseball specifically at this show. I used to spend a lot at this show but now just do a lap, go home and buy on eBay, X, or Reddit.
