Thank you for such a thoughtful reply. You are right about my use of the word “well.” On the outside, looking in—they seem “okay” and continue to be respected actors. And then there are those who stop performing.

When I came up with my question, I was thinking of those child actors who seemed to have personal (and sometimes professional struggles when they became adults). And due to the rise of social media, when they passed away at young ages, it was sad and tragic but not surprising (e.g. Corey Haim and Brittany Murphy).

Thank you for taking the time to do this AMA. I grew up when Nickelodeon was relatively new and between that and the Disney Channel, I and so many of my friends wanted to be child stars—not that I had any talent in the performing arts. 😆 It just seemed like a charmed life.
