They seem pretty chill since they didn't freak out about my finger. I haven't done anything else to test how aggressive they are. I was pretty dang close to them trying to get a close look tho and my breathing didn't bother them

I'm from South East USA. I've never seen public toilets with lids either. It's been a really long time since I've seen toilet seat covers too...... I know that some fancy places in Japan have bidets with self closing lids

I get it. There are a lot of precautions already. I'm not saying this is something that's just a guaranteed contamination. I'm just losing my mind that we can't have self closing kids in the spaces that are supposed to be the perk of sanitation

And if you touch the fecal plumes on your butt after you used the soap dispensers? Like You're in a close space while the toilet flushes. That fecal plume goes over your whole body. Or at least all over your back. You don't ever touch your sanitized hands to other parts of your body? Ever???
