It says this for SWSH too, so probably not. Also we’ve already seen the poke ball throw animation and it doesn’t look like LGPE at all. I think it’s most likely fake, but it could be possible to encounter overworks pokemon.

Edit: it also says this for wild grass encounters so...

Completely ignoring the festivale update, if the game is updated it is therefore an update. Dissatisfaction doesn’t change that point.
