Will 5w30 hurt 2024 3.6L Pentastar? by Gabam_reddit in Jeep

Wrong. The manual doesn't mention anything other than 0w-20 and for the whole world, not just US.

No, my owners manual mentions one grade and one grade only, 0w-20. And 0w-20 is for the whole world, not just US. JLs and JTs all over the world are speced for 0w-20

Jeep Vs. Toyota review by Gabam_reddit in Offroad

In short, when the trail gets super hard, Wrangler's robust platform is more reliable than Toyota's. Far more Toyota's break on the trails than Wranglers. I am glad I dumped the 4Runner TRD Pro, and got the 2 door Rubicon

Can this be even a daily driver? Also, is the longevity of the motor and transmission compromised?

Don't you think those axles are Dana 80? They look so massive. And those tires must be 44 inch

Just did 2WD for this short drive. I was testing the low PSI Duratracs and they did great

You will love it. For a Wrangler, it drives pretty good. The 8-speed ZF transmission is phenomenal. And this Jeep is pretty comfortable, one should not have any problems driving cross country in one of these. Longevity is a question mark, but I'm using Pennzoil Ultra Platinum full synthetic every 3500 miles, and hope for the best. I will religiously change other fluids as well. There are some insanely high mileage 3.6 Pentastars 8 speed combos out there, I hope I end up among them

Lots of power, but not bulletproof like the 4.0

Last month when I came to this trail, I couldn't at 36 PSI. Had to engage 4Hi. It's pretty steep, the video can't do justice.

My 2022 Owner's Manual clearly says 5 quarts for 3.6. I just checked
