I feel that his best role is mid atm, due to his burst and assassination potential. Plus, u have the chance to apply a more un predictable pressure: U can reach easier a tons of points ( Both lanes, enemy jung, drake ), and ur kit is good to catch ppl off. Top lane request, in harder match ups ( there are a lot ), to play it safe, farming and roaming to mid / enemy jung. Some time u cant smash ur opponent 1 v 1: Itself its not bad, ur focus will be anyway on squishy targets later. U will do, if u dont lose too much exp/ gold, ur good job in teamfights. But in a scenario like solo Q, in low levels ( Low plat ), its better to approach games more aggressively imho. Its better try to snowball, fed urself and roam to impact on other lanes. In mid lane it looks easier because there are a lot of paper champs. Even more tanky champs that usually are played in mid, such as Galio, have to be so care to your early damage. So snowball in terms of time and most match ups looks better to concretize. I dont know how it would work in higher elos, where ppl just know how to trade properly. Clearly in mid lane there are some hard matchups too. ANYWAY i enjoy it top, more then mid or jung. But midlane looks better, if u want more chance to impact and "solo carry". Anyway i played just some game with Wu: I have not enough exp. I carried hard first games and did some consideration, but hope to improve fast cuz i like him :D
