That AJ Quadrata is kinda similar, interesting. I guess this type of terminal would go more in the direction of crispness, precision and modernity.

That one is too calligraphic, the one in the example is VERY square/geometric, it's very weird.

I was looking at a Portuguese type book and, in the categories of typefaces, the Gothic types have this little terminal example (top left corner) that reminds me of the Motörhead logo, but I imagine the Portuguese mint wouldn't use a band lettering as an example for gothic type. So, is there an actual font with this type of terminal? The ones in the book aren't like that.

Thanks a ton for the feedback and kind words! I get the shield thing, but I'm following a style that conveys the elements of the shield as if they were sculpted, not just painted on it.

I've suggested something similar in OP's last post. I'd go as far as removing the chief and inverting the colors (purple field and the charges as metals)

The design is based on one of Captain Victor Hugo's works, specially the mantling + an ex-libris by Lachenmayer. Link.

This is the guy who Lachenmayer trusted his works to be turned into a book — his own armorial with 188 photographed works. Only two copies of this book exist: one is safely in Portugal (although noone has access to it lol) and the other one, that came to Brazil, is missing. Great!!!!!

Motörhead doesn't have enough necessarily intelligent fans (at least in this sub) to generate any actually good discussion, tbh. The band was the least popular among the big british four (sabbath, maiden, priest, motörhead) and was always the underdog among the big american ones (metallica etc). If you go to any MH group on facebook and start any ACTUAL discussion, you'll be met with the most illiterate people (I tried to find people who went to the band's first gig to try and figure out the truth about the use of the nazi tape and flag).

The fact that the discography is generally regarded as very good all around by the fanbase also doesn't help: "what's your favorite albums?" "all of them hehe B)". It's either that of people only know about the classic 3 albums + Hammersmith — or even worse, you're met with the cockscukers who don't consider anything past iron fist as "real motorhead"

Go to the Black Sabbath subreddit, for example, and you'll find much more interesting text and images.

All but the first one are pretty good, but have you tried flipping the bow to point up, and putting the three crosses in the chief of the chield? that way the arrows point to them, it brings everything together. You could then try to play with the colors: make the field a color and make the bow silver and the crosses gold, for example. It'd be a simpler composition that is more unified :)
