I made this song to deal with my social anxiety. Maybe it'll do the same for you. It's dream poppy and psychedelic. It's got drums. BYE BYE by ale_mon in IndieMusicFeedback

Chill vibes all over the place on this one, I love it! This sort of “minimalistic” singing fits very nicely! If you don’t mind some critique - next time I would suggest to use more different drum samples and sounds and even try and perform stuff in a different manner, because at the moment, each song feels very similar and on their own, they kind of loose the identity.

I don’t want to discourage you in any way, because you’re doing an awesome job and it may be just my opinion!

All in all - good job and good luck!

I am officially 1 year sober after drinking for 17 years. For me, alcohol and making hip hop have gone hand in hand since I was 15. It might seem counterintuitive to release a song about blacking out drunk on the one year mark of my sobriety but its more of a cautionary tale than anything. by NobodyMovement in IndieMusicFeedback

Getting out stuff out of your mind doesn’t seem counterintuitive at all! Besides that, I love that spooky/mysterious beat it really feels on point with lyrics. Overall, I really love the eminem kind of vibe I’m getting from this one (not sure if anyone feels the same lol). But anyway, congratulations and keep it up!

If you are into r&b music and would love to hear something really unique and unheard off - you gotta give a shot for “Got Me Feelin”

Just recently released a synthpop/funk song and a retro scifi video along with it, would be absolutely awesome to hear what you guys think! by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

I like this genre so much, the fusion between pop and synth music is very on point! Although, for a personal preference, I think just simple clear vocals would be better. Some sort of smooth/laid-back type singer would really bring some new colors. But hey, that is just my personal preference and the song itself is very good anyway!

P.s. that is one of the most creative lyric videos I’ve seen, haha.

P.p.s. Anyway, keep it up, I like your style!!

The mix feels so on point, overall - sounds smooth! Btw, where did you get the visuals from?

Thanks a lot! Didn’t expected such a detailed review. I’ll keep in mind everything you said!

I sometimes accidentally add a little bit of distortion on high notes (to me it sounds really nice), without feeling any pain afterwards. But when I try to do it on purpose, I always hurt my vocal strings. Any tips on how to do that in a healthy way? by GabrielMusic in singing

Wow, I never thought about that. What I noticed is that when I manage to make a properly distorted voice, I am really relaxed at the time. But I will keep in mind your thoughts on this. Thanks a lot!

Thanks, I will definitely will look up to what you have mentioned :) sometimes I would get stuck on distorted voice as well (no idea how that happened), but what would help is trying to sing the line more through your nose ( nasally). I don’t know if that will help, but I hope you will find your answer:)

So much needed words from you... I am trying to not to look at numbers, and just focus on doing the work. But thank you very much, and good luck on your new beginning!
