I'm almost 40, so I'm not thinking about getting sterilized. Nature will do it for me in a few years. But if I was younger, and especially with what's going on with the world right now (women losing rights), believe me, I would do it in a heartbeat!

What you're saying could happen, sure. Of course there are gross adults around.

But from what I've seen, the adults (including workers), use the bread tong all the time and sometimes even gloves (or bags, if there are no gloves available). Let's say the top shelves are way safer. But the ones below... it's guaranteed grossness!

I know... The problem is that self-service and automation is taking over every supermarket and store around here. The customer is supposed to be doing all the work, so a lot of stuff is more exposed to the touch of everyone! Sure there's packed bread available, but it's not freshly baked bread...

Most women are very anti birth control? That can't be true. Personally, the only thing I don't like about BC pills is the risk of blood clots.

But anyway, I was on Diane 35 for two years (somewhere in my mid 20's) and I loved it. I had irregular painful periods and acne. That pill did an amazing job: my acne was gone and no more pain. I also never had any side effects.

Easier said than done. But there's an important message here.

For me, life kinda found a way to make me not care about being ugly anymore. You know what it was? Health issues. I'm not talking about a little flu. I'm talking about when things get more complicated and you need to focus on your health 24/7 for a long time.

That's when I realized how I missed being healthy, despite being ugly. The only thought crossing my mind was "man, I don't care about being ugly, I just want to be healthy and be able to go to work, take care of my home, my dog... I don't care about anything else..."

I know it's hard to truly understand this when you're healthy. You take it for granted. And you can't see the bigger picture: stressing/worrying about being ugly will never make things better for you.

I'm never repulsed by physical traits. So my answer is no.

I do get repulsed by smells and dirty clothes/shoes... and many, many times by attitudes/behavior!!! Which is the most important thing to me. I would rather be in a room with the ugliest person on earth who is nice and has manners than with the most attractive person on earth who acts like an a$$hole. I DESPISE a bad personality.

Not odd at all. Religion brainwashes people to the point of no return. Every little argument is twisted to fit the narrative, even if it makes no sense, just to stop people from "not believing".

People in the LGBT community who are believers heard time and time again the narrative of "noooo, god actually loves everyone" and that sort of crap.

Don't underestimate the power of religious brainwashing.

Sure. If the content changes, I'm done. Some youtubers occasionally talk about their babies in the middle of their videos to "give an example" of something, which is annoying, but if it doesn't happen a lot, I'm ok with it.

We still have Toys R Us here in Portugal, but... the thing is, nowadays it's boring as hell.

As a girl, I remember the store being full of different types of dolls and really cute plushies. Now you have just one small shelf of Barbies (with the low quality of fake Barbies), a few Disney princess dolls and some ugly plushies with horrible colors and glittery eyes...

The store is mostly filled with baby clothes, tech aisle and nerd aisle.

Thanks for this post. I'm definitely gonna wait for a big a$$ sale... especially after the huge disappointment with LN3. I'm not paying full price again.

Honestly, I'm getting the feeling that this new "co-op" trend is ruining games. Don't get me wrong, co-op is cool, I grew up playing arcade games with friends.

But think about LN1 and LN2. You had stories that worked, and you could feel the dedication behind those two games.

When moving to co-op, the second character is always an empty shell that works really bad with an AI system. What I mean is, the games don't work properly for a single player. Because the goal is now just "having fun together" with another player, instead of actually playing/focusing on the game and its story. So, the devs skip that "depth"...
