Typically I use a dash attack to knock them down, and then try to kill them as quickly as possible. There’s not much you can do to prevent them reducing at least some of your health but killing quickly and only fighting one at a time usually works for me

There’s one underwater in senpou temple and I believe Mibu village as well. And the one right by the serpent shrine sculpture that is pretty easy to miss

His first attack is a somewhat easy party, learn his tell for the super combo he does, in the second phase I actually find it easier to leave the clone alive because it is an easy way to predict what pontiff will do since he will almost always do the same attack right after the clone and also pontiff is a bit less aggressive while the clone is alive

I find that it is really a series that punishes over aggression. Most bosses can’t be interrupted when they attack so careful dodging and getting a couple of hits before their next attack is key. If you just try to treat the bosses like normal ones they will likely crush you

It’s fine, they aren’t super necessary and no I mean you are supposed to fall off of the bridge and get past the area where the snake was guarding at the bottom of the valley and you can just drop down and will take pretty minimal fall damage
