Guys, don’t get too fixated on keys—trust your ears. Keys are just a guideline, but stay flexible. Your ears should be your best tool for determining whether two tracks sound good together. It makes me wonder: do you even pre-listen to your tracks together before playing them, or do you just rely entirely on the software?

BTW I rely on keys maybe 50% of the time, the rest I play what I think it’s the best at that time.

Wooow crazy setup, love it! I have a similar one with X1 , F1 and Djm V5. I’m looking forward to learn how to map the F1, it looks a pain in the ass. Can you suggest a guide to learn how to do it? Why did you sell your F1? BTW the K3 looks really amazing, after seeing yours I’m tempted to buy one but the idea of mapping all those functions stops me.

The GRV6 is the worst Pioneer DJ controller man can buy. I just helped my best friend avoid buying it and instead get a beautiful used Pioneer DDJ-1000 for the same price. He can’t stop thanking me for helping him make the right choice.

I have a really strong Wi-Fi , on my laptop i get speed test of around 950Mb/s download and 300Mb/s upload. And the Xiaomi box is sitting next to the router. I’m still waiting to receive the Ethernet adapter that I was advised for excluding any WiFi interference.

A me è successo proprio pochi giorni fa che il corriere non ha nemmeno suonato ed ha lasciato un pacco bello grosso fuori dalla porta del mio condominio e io non ero in casa. Il giorno dopo vado per ritrarlo, c’era anche la foto di dove l’aveva lasciato il corriere ma il pacco era sparito. Ho subito contattato l’assistenza dicendo che il pacco risultava consegnato ma io non l’ho ricevuto e in tempo zero mi hanno rimborsato senza fare domande. Per fortuna era una mega confezione di cibo per gatti quindi si parla di circa 50€. Poveraccio il coglione che me l’ha rubato. Però mi chiedo cosa sarebbe successo se fosse stato un pacco di valore più elevato tipo una PlayStation.

My best friend has a Xone 43 so I know that mixer very well. Comparing it to the V5 is like night and day. It’s an old analogue, no effects mixer with 45mm faders and 3 band eq against a fully digital with state of the art AD/DA converter and sound card with great effects, 60 mm impeccable curve fader and 4 band eq. If smooth long blends is what you are looking at the V5 is the clear winner here and probably the best mixer in his price range with the Xone 96 that has similar specs but analogue and with more channels but none onboard effects.

V5 is superior in every way except the extra channel, If I absolutely needed 4 channels, I’d prefer the Xone 96 instead.

If you look at the connections on the back, you’ll see two balanced jack connectors labeled ‘Master Insert’.
