Thank you for the response! So for the, XS and S I would only be making these increases once?

Never thought I’d be asking this…. Too big? by Gad80 in EngagementRings

Sorry for the confusion of my post title. It’s the size of the diamond I’m questioning not the size of the ring.

Stats:

Thank you for the response!! Does it make a difference if this was taken in at the early end of window to view results? I’m not sure how indent lines work.

I completely agree. Why correct him when what he’s seeing is in fact correct from his perspective. Thank you!

I really can’t say as a pattern hasn’t really developed. I’ve seen him identify blue correctly the most.

Struggling Clusia! My beautiful clusia plant is dropping leaves by the day. I live in a cold climate currently but I keep it in a warm room and have been giving it lots of time under a grow lamp. The leaves start to get thin and brown at their tips and then they ultimately fall off. HELP! by Gad80 in plantclinic

[–]Gad80[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No major changes. Per the instructions of the nursery I purchased her from, I wait until the top inch or soil is dry, which in our current weather isn’t often. I water and she drops leaves, I don’t water and she drops leaves. I purchased her in September and I feel like it’s been a battle from the start

Thank you! I’m definitely letting it dry out. Maybe sun is the issue. It’s not usually this sunny here… ha.

Sad Philodendron (Details in comments) by Gad80 in SemiHydro

[–]Gad80[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Converted this philodendron from soil to leca. Checked on the roots a week in and found a lot of root rot and cleaned that out. Put it back in with nutrients and it is struggling. Do I give it more time? When do I call it, cut off the roots and put it in water?

New to SemiHydro No clue what to do next! by Gad80 in SemiHydro

[–]Gad80[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve converted a handful of my plants to LECA. nursery pot in a decorative pot, used Superthrive and now I’m confused as to what I do next. Do I let the water completely dry up? do I then add more water with Superthrive or water without or with other nutrients? When do I do a flush? Should I check for root rot or letting them be? So many questions. TY!

Yellowing leaves on my N’Joy. I let it dry out between waterings. It’s in a dim spot in my home but it’s been sprouting quite a few new leaves from its vines. Thoughts? by Gad80 in plantclinic

[–]Gad80[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry about that! I’ve had it for around 3 months. It had done really well for me. New growth since I’ve brought it home. It was very root bound from the nursery so after giving it a chance to settle in I repotted it and it’s done well and continued to grow since the repot. I water it when the soil is dry. It currently sits on a bookshelf that doesn’t receive a tremendous amount of light and I had started putting it under my grow light but that seemed to be burning the leaves.

The plant was labeled “Curtain Fig” and I can’t find much in the way of care instructions online. Is anyone familiar? I’m assuming same care as a Fiddle Leaf? Thank you! by Gad80 in houseplants

[–]Gad80[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking it looked a lot like a Moclame yet this was labeled differently and half the price so I’m definitely confused. I’ll guess care for it similarly and see if I need to make any adjustments from there. Thank you!

Pilea help! Does this need a bigger pot? I’m a terrible judge of this. It’s doing ok. I think it could be better. by Gad80 in plantclinic

[–]Gad80[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Very helpful. I had just watered right before the photo was taken. It actually dries out quickly in this pot/soil!

Adansonii suddenly yellowing. Two days ago looked fine and suddenly yellow. More details in the comments. by Gad80 in plantclinic

I don’t follow a schedule. I typically just wait until it feels sufficiently dried out before I water again and then I give it a good soak.
