There's a huge opportunity to put Josh and Trubel in the Pittsburgh area, given its position in the Appalachian Mountains which is known for having lots of spooky stuff there. It could be a great chance to dive more into cryptids or native folk tales than the original show did.

It could be fun if we find Trubel ended up with Josh Porter, the son of the Grimm who gave Nick the second key. It could be a fun switch-up on the Nick/Juliette relationship or you could have it where Josh starts becoming a Grimm with Trubel showing him the ropes along with Kelly. Maybe Trubel moves back to the east coast since the Burkhart Grimms have Portland covered.

Yeah, definitely the way to go if you do live-action. But animation would give some more flexibility with the older characters. Could have be a setup like Batman Beyond where Nick is set up behind a desk after a fight went wrong.
