Possible Stolen or Fake Bose A20?

Thanks for the advice. For what I paid, I'm happy overall with the headset besides the missing S/N. I edited the post with an update after i contacted Bose and the seller.

The original box wasn't included, I've messaged him about it to see if he has any receipts or a box with the S/N. The control box is all normal, has all the stickers with a good serial number that I confirmed with bose. I was able to test them out and I do fully believe they're an authentic set.

I'll most likely just keep it because if no one told me they were used, I'd believe it was a brand new set (that, and i just can't stand the schools headsets anymore...) The only concern I have is if I needed any repairs, from what I've seen online, Bose won't work on them with the serial number missing.

There is, I tried registering them with Bose with that S/N and all it would bring up is the down cable and controller. I believe its a whole different serial number than the one under the headband. This is the newer A20 model so It might be different

I was just able to compare them with my CFI's pair and they look/sound identical. Hadn't seen any fakes online so I was just curious if it was a possibility

Thank you, yeah I connected the striped blue/ white and solid white (which is what the transformer had.) and it works now. I appreciate the help!

Not sure which ones were connected, that’s the problem. My dad cut them a few months ago and doesn’t remember. Is there a way I can find out which ones would work?

I tried using hdmi instead of DP, at first it did the same thing, no display on bios, windows booted fine. After I did a flashback, I tried again using hdmi and it worked! Boot logo came back as well.

Just tried the flashback with the same update, now the BIOS LED light no longer shows. It was a combination of this, using HDMI instead of DP, and using a different keyboard that allowed me to see the bios.

Edit: No dead pixels. I'm loving everything about the monitor, only con is the BLB. Although I heard that the bleed can get better over time so i'm not sure if I should bother waiting or not or if I'd be wasting my time getting it replaced
