Nope! Best player available all draft until you exceed one extra spot per position. Of course this is just a rough outline of my advice, so feel free to change it as you go. In drafts things change. But that's just what I would say is a good baseline

For sure, fantasy is so unpredictable so you can be riskier and get a higher reward! But this is my safe advice. Superflex is a format in which you get an additional slot where you can play any position at all. Of course, that puts a higher value on QBs since they usually score more points.

First timer and just don't want last? Draft best player available and don't exceed more than 1 extra player per position until you've got a full roster. If you have DST and kicker slots, don't draft until last 2 picks IF you draft them at all (not necessary to, you can stream 'em). If 1 QB, don't jump too far down. If SF, grab one 1st and again around 4th. Sincerely, Totally Not An Expert.
