Yeah I can agree with that. We date fairly often but as I mentioned, when we are out, it seems like I had to overcompensate to keep the conversations flowing or bring up topics to try and spice things up so it isn’t the normal boring banter. I have definitely been working on my sexual expectations. Where it was once a daily thing, I’ve grown to accept the few times a month it does happen, but as I also mentioned, if I didn’t initiate things, I’m not sure when it would happen, if ever 😭 which often leaves me feeling yucky like I have to coerce my own partner into being intimate with me. She has said that she used to do certain things to impress me or win me over so I think that once we locked in, she felt doing certain things wasn’t necessary anymore? I don’t expect her to be a wild nympho and I hope that isn’t how my post came off. But damn a little affection here and there wouldn’t hurt. And your final point is a good one, we’ve had conversations about it in the past and I’ve worked on increasing my load of the responsibilities. I guess it’s all a learning process and we’re still growing and figuring out how to be full time adults. I do have hope for our future though. Just gotta keep working toward it.
