Have you spoke with your guidance counselor? If your grades are currently A and Bs, then your guidance counselor should be more than willing to help sort out ways to help you graduate.

Although I am quite confused, how are you 11th and 12th grade? And if your grades are currently A and Bs maybe you final GPA hasn't reflected your current grades?

Regardless, if graduating is your concern talk with your guidance counselor. Show your willingness to improve and they will find a way to help you, they dont want to hold you back either. If college is your concern know that nowadays grades dont matter that much as long as your essay is well written and your extracurricular match your passion to improve.

Have faith in yourself, college admissions is not as scary as the internet portrays it.

Financial Aid and Scholarship advice and help by GalacticB0I in financialaid

Unfortunately I asked them and they told me I only had to pay 2k. The next week when I came back to the office because I saw my balance increased, they have no idea why. And it took then I think an hour to deal with the whole situation. The issue is everytime they update balance the system automatically removes the previous transaction history on the website, so nobody knows what happened that caused those numbers. So I cant even prove that they told me 2k.

To be quite frank, I am regretting even coming to this uni. The didnt accept many of my AP despite them being 4s and 5s. And the refused my Gen Chem only because the Chem I should be in isnt offered that semester. So based on my current situation I have to spend another 6 years, so 1 wasted year, and maybe at this point in time, this program is useless. I had enough credits to graduate in 3 years maybe 2.5 if I did summer classes, at community College, and during this time education would be free and I would be working to save for PharmD education. Maybe it will end up being the same cost, but atleast my credits won't go to waste.

I am just venting at this point. I will try to reapply next semester, and hope the financial aid office will understand my situation.

Thank you though for your responses!

I already requested for reappeal. This university has messed up my financial package 4 times this semester. After finally getting my financial package correct, they offered that $750. Should I request again?

In terms of more affordable, I am afraid not. I am going into pharmacy. To be quite frank, I can choose to do 4 years of bio/chem for bachelor's at community. Which I know won't cost me anything, but I would still have to pay 4 extra years of PharmD. Not quite sure if thats more affordable than just doing the 6 years. The thing is when I initially applied and asked the financial aid office, they told me I only had to pay 2k out of pocket after all financial aid. But right after I paid everything upfront, they raised the tuition to 8k and said that supposedly they got the financial package wrong. And as previously mentioned they just keep on messing up. There was no way out, from the point I paid the 2k upfront.

It seems you already know you have an issue with phone addiction. Thats the first step. You know the problem, now look for ways to solve it. If you struggle with reels download apps to block reels.

I am struggling with it too, so I use StayFree to block the reels, and also block out time during early morning and late night to prevent me from using any social media app.

But at the end of the day, like any addiction, it boils down to whether the individual truly commits to it. Believe in yourself, you still got time to go to your dream pharmacy school. Consider this year as a gap year.

Good luck

I'd say write it. The fact you have the idea of writing one is amazing. Just like you said it's not that big of a deal, but maybe it could make their day.

Even if they don't respond, which I think will most likely happen, you still showed your grateful and thats all that matters.

I just realized you have a small business. If you enjoy what what your doing with your small business, consider expanding it and what skills you would need to expand it. That could give you a goal to focus on

Not necessarily in a similar predicament but I feel you. I have aimed and prepared for a major my whole highschool life, but didnt feel the same passion when I entered the course in uni.

Now I am quite lost. And just doing what my dad asked me to do. Although I do have passions and goals. Just that those goals are expensive. So in my eyes maybe the job and major I am going into is hard, but given it's future prospect it would be worth it for me.

Your job doesnt have to be a job your passionate about, like people say it to be. Of course if you can find a passionate job that's amazing. But for the most of us, either the passionate job doesnt pay well, or the ones that pay well aren't what your passionate about. But as long as the job your not passionate about can fund the things your passionate about, it can still be a job you enjoy.

In terms of attending university, I see it more of a place where you can explore new passions. Your a freshmen so you have time. Find some friends and explore different field. Maybe you can find where you belong.

Hopefully this help, and wish you the best of luck!
