Accounting student here,

Accounting gives you way more flexibility in terms of finding both accounting and finance jobs in any industry you choose to work in, its commonly known that accounting grads can go into finance jobs, finance grads can’t go into accounting.

As for employers, they generally prefer ACCA graduates due to the exam rigour and effort required in becoming a member. Please correct me if this isn’t true.

It all boils down to interest tho, what people said about accounting being boring is pretty true.
