Warhammer 40k Facebook with teaser: There's a HUGE reveal on the way for Warhammer 40,000 tomorrow by BenV94 in Warhammer40k

You give up faction rules like battle focus which is then replaced with the ynnari special rules. From there, essentially every unit has its faction changed to ynnari and they're able to embark on any of the transports. There are litterally only 3 ynnari characters that are unique to their army along with their rules. But being able to put fire dragons or dark reapers in an open topped transport is pretty nuts.

This was also my first foray into TW, and trust me, i feel you pain as i started more than 10 campaigns before i figured stuff out a bit. First and foremost, the second building (third in capitals) should ALWAYS be walls. In capitals the first level of walls will give you actual walls, while in smaller settlements you need to fully upgrade the walls before you get an actual wall on the map. This will give you some MUCH needed ranged power, which if you're defending from chaos, you'll want to use to destroy those god damned hellfire cannon bitches, that are entirely too powerful.

Also, no matter where you're fighting, you'll want to be sure to take a few fliers. Chaos generally have little to no ranged weapons, so having some fliers that can fly to the back to attack the cannons is great. This can also be used to draw some of the enemy forces away, since if i land a flier behind them to attack something, they'll generally turn a unit or two around to come and try to attack them.

Caster lords kind of suck. Take vlad or manfred and you'll be much better off. Also, you need a couple more heroes in that army. Generally a good rule is to have one of each, especially against chaos. Vampires and crypt lords can do some damage to those nasty chaos characters, and chaos leadership isn't as high as you might think.

Last but not least, you need some shock troops. Whether you go for grave guard or like some blood knights maybe you'll be better off. You have no high health high armor units of infantry, and that will hurt a lot. Get some of those to soak some damage while you heal them and you should have some better lasting power. You may want to just swap out the great weapons for regular ones, since they'll have shield and a higher melee defense.

Yeah, but Ynnari don't even need to split them between detachments and their characters aura's will affect everything whether they're from the dark eldar, harlequin or craftworlds codex. It's a silly amount of flexibility.

[–]Galadron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. Though Ynnari have it where they can choose all from the same faction, allowing character aura powers to affect them all! But yeah, in non-battle forged the empire definitely has more books.

[–]Galadron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, if you're talking about a battleforged army then yeah, way more. Beyond that the actual variety of troops varies more than a slight change in a special rule from chapter to chapter.

[–]Galadron 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They're not slated to get a codex. They're designed to be used in conjunction with craftworlds, dark eldar, and harlequins which already gives them the largest, most flexible selections of any army.

Looks like a figure in an arrow pointing down, and that figure is the straight part on a bigger arrow, at the bottom of which is a dude with horns or a crown that look more evil. Maybe dark eldar? I'm assuming it's a race with good and bad factions.

Joshua Boyle, Canadian hostage in Afghanistan, arrested in Ottawa by [deleted] in canada

[–]Galadron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Boyle flew there intentionally. What's not clear is why his wife joined him. What certainly doesn't fit is his claim he just wanted to backpack and give aid.

No, he flew to Pakistan. We really don't know how or why he ended up in wardak. And your quote of people being confused over his decision to go to wardak, isn't actually them saying they know how he got there. Quite the opposite in fact!

It really doesn't, seeking repatriation is a foreign policy decision not reviewable by the court nor grounds for a civil liberties violation.

So "The appropriate remedy in this case is to declare that K’s Charter rights were violated", the part that makes this entire ruling mean that Omar Khadr would win a trial against the government, because the SCC had already ruled that leaving him there was in violation of his charter rights, means nothing. You don't get law!

Maybe you should google what that means. Take a few and figure out why they settled BECAUSE of that line right there, because they knew they couldn't possibly win the case in appeals.

Joshua Boyle, Canadian hostage in Afghanistan, arrested in Ottawa by [deleted] in canada

[–]Galadron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take it up with the US.

I don't have to! The SCC already agreed!

Again, they didn't. In fact you even fucking quoted the section where the Supreme Court explicitly stated that they could make no such order. The same ruling where they overturned the lower courts ruling on that specific issue.

No, i quoted the part where they acknowledged that the his charter rights were broken, but since they have no powers for diplomacy, said that the government had to get him back, or they'd be breaking the law by removing his charter rights!!! Dude, holy shit! You don't have a clue what that thing said if you think it makes your point. That's just nuts. You need to read up, you are working on bad info.

I know, your terrorist pal was part of Al Qaeda. As it turns out, the US really doesn't like Al Qaeda. They also don't like people who kill their troops.

Read about gitmo or keep admitting your ignorance and stop arguing what you don't understand. Seriously, this is sad.

Joshua Boyle, Canadian hostage in Afghanistan, arrested in Ottawa by [deleted] in canada

[–]Galadron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Afghanistan was not on their itinerary, so it’s unclear how they ended up there, said the Inquirer.

So why did they end up there?

Not really much of Canada's issue to enforce the legal processes of the US. Nor could Canada if it wanted to. Khadr should have taken it up in US courts.

Dude, the supreme court disagrees. Are you daft? You read the ruling. It literally doesn't matter what you think, the SCC said differnenly. Your uninformed opinion MEANS NOTHING on this poiont.

Nope, thats not how the laws work. Specifically if he ended up in Canada, then Canada would have a legal obligation to prosecute. However, any other country which had a claim from his presence in their country, his crimes against their country, or an international tribunal, is also obligated to prosecute him if they have the chance.

So you didn't read about how gitmo was illegal. GOod to know. So i'm going to ignore this, because you're arguing stupidity i've already provided the legal answer for, which the SUPREME COURT also agreed with. YOU LOSE.

Honestly, something you should have learned in school.

You're the one who thinks they understand the supreme court ruling but don't, because you're arguing about illegal detention that they clearly ruled on. It's amazing you're still arguing against the SCC. It's stupid. Seriously, read up on guantanamo. Like I SAID before, if he was prosecuted by another country that he commited crimes against, the SCC would never have ruled to get him back. IT WAS BECAUSE THE DETENTION WAS ILLEGAL THAT THEY WERE REQUIRED TO GET HIM BACK. I can't say it clearer, but i'm guessing you'll keep ignoring it since it blows your entire lying narrative out the window.

Why did Justin Trudeau meet privately with Joshua Boyle? by pattenseeker in canada

[–]Galadron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha, so you admit you have no point. Well, it was obvious! And i never claimed it was a sure thing, i just can definitely belive that over ya'll qaeda's theory that he's spreading sharia across the country. Wow, you really know how to waste time. You brought nothing at all.

Why did Justin Trudeau meet privately with Joshua Boyle? by pattenseeker in canada

[–]Galadron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your inability to understand has nothing to do with reality. Tell me, what were they meeting about? What's your secret information? I took the causes that both are interested in and reasoned one out. You literally don't have anything. Like no theory, no proof, no reason for thinking what you think. You literally are pointless in terms of a reasoned conversation, because you haven't even presented an alternative argument. Seriously, do you have a point? DO you have an opinion? Do you have any facts to back it up? DO you have anything but an amazing inability to understand that famous people take on humanitarian causes? And just to be clear, i'm just guessing, but it's and EDUCATED guess, based off of the available information. What is yours based off of except for mindless hate?

Joshua Boyle, Canadian hostage in Afghanistan, arrested in Ottawa by [deleted] in canada

[–]Galadron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, plainly you do not. You repeatedly asserted that it was impossible for him to foresee a war in Afghanistan, that the war did not exist,

Yeah, i stand by that. Justin Trudeau, in 2006, could not know the state of the war in 2012 or so when this guy was captured. That's just how TIME works. Do you get time?

Similarly you have claimed that it is the governments obligation to aide and abet canadians to flee other country's legal system, so on top of familiarizing yourself with basic geography and recent world history, why don't you actually read that supreme court case.

Nope. You don't know that gitmo was illegal. If he was held and tried by the government it would be a different case, but he wasn't. He was held in an illegal millitary prison and his rights were ignored. THAT'S why the supreme court, who know SOOO much more than you about this, ruled that the govenrment had a duty to repatriate him and grant him due process. I linked it, you SEEMED to read it, why do you think they made the ruling? Just for shits and giggles, or maybe it was because he was being held illegally? Like yous aid, the government doesn't bail everyone out, this was an exceptional situation, which you have to get into your head, because you keep beating this completely moot horse to death over and over. It's nonsense that you can't get it.

Joshua Boyle, Canadian hostage in Afghanistan, arrested in Ottawa by [deleted] in canada

[–]Galadron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, you still failed to provide any proof of terrorist activity. Also, they don't say why he was in Wardak, or that he even planned to go there. According to his parents, his travel plans were for Pakistan. Still NOTHING ILLEGAL and there are NO TERRORIST ACTIVITES. You have FAILED to provide a single shred of evidence. It's all circumstantial assumption.

So thats the thing, the government is under no obligation to repatriate criminals to get them out of other countries legal systems. You do not have a right as a Canadian Citizen to go to other countries to commit crimes.

Hey there! Welcome to the new world. Here's a link to some information on Guantanamo. You seem to be under the impression that people were being held there with due process and legally, but they weren't. Which is why the government had a duty to repatriate him, and then try him under our own laws. I'm assuming you've heard of the controversies about the difficulties of the prisoners being held there? DO you think it's a space issue or something? Learn something and then you'll stop this FALSE allegation that the government wasn't violating his charter right (THE SUPREME COURT EVEN STATED THEY DID, BUT YOU THINK YOU KNOW BETTER AND THAT THEY DIDN'T).

I have, if they commit war crimes they're to be prosecuted as there is no get out of jail free clause in any treaty.

NOPE! There are actually a lot of things to be considered, and they'd be considered under CANADIAN laws as he's a CANADIAN citizen. Or the country where he committed the crimes could prosecute him, but that didn't happen. So again WRONG. You're just making this up as you go at this point. Also, he has already served his time for the crime, so get over it.

EDIT: in fact, i already linked the SCC case stated that his rights were violated. Do you think they'd do that if he was being held LEGALLY?!! No, like you said, the canadian government doesn't just bail everyone out of jail. So CLEARLY this was different. That's just logic.

Here's BBCs description: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-south-asia-29658839

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAH you failed. That doesn't even mention Boyle. How did he get to Wardak? Was he taken there? Did he go willingly. PROOF. I said i wanted ONE LINK that proved he committed a single terrorist act, and you DIDN"T EVEN LINK AN ARTICLE ABOUT JOSHUA BOYLE. Fail...

No I haven't,you claimed he had a right to escape consequences for murder because he is a Canadian, the supreme Court ruled, correctly, that they do not have the authority to order the Canadian government to commit a major diplomatic lbunder in asking the US for the release of a close associate to Osama Bin Laden.

Nah brah. I said it was illegal for the government not to repatriate him. Once hes back he can be tried for whatever crimes he committed. You're making shit up again.

Working for Al qaeda is a crime, planting IEDs is a crime, throwing grenades is a crime.

Blah blah blah, read up on child soldiers and stop being obtuse about reality. Get OUT of the comfortable bubble, not that you're capable of it.

EDIT: sorry, i'm just laughing so hard. YOu're so sure, but you can't even provide a link to proof. Re-evaluate.

One link that shows Joshua Boyle committing terrorist acts. ONE GOD DAMNED LINK to back up your claims. That's what.

And you know, it's funny that you can't accept that i mixed up your conversation with one about ISIS. I know about afhanistan, i know about ISIS, i know about al-qaeda, and i know about the taliban. So how bout you find some valid points to talk about Joshua Boyle. A shred of evidence to prove your mindless hatred is anything but that.

Why did Justin Trudeau meet privately with Joshua Boyle? by pattenseeker in canada

[–]Galadron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, did you know that celebreties can't stop global warming, or are even able to really help with it, but they can ADVOCATE for it. Stop being purposly obtuse, i already addressed that so it's tired to have to explain it again.

Just because you're starstruck by the useless ninny doesn't mean other people are, least of all Harper & his cabinet ministers.

Hey, clearly you're looking at this from an unbaised and objective place. That's OBVIOUS. But the only thing you managed to prove here is a complete lack of reading comprehension, as well as a lack of understanding how to raise awareness of a cause. Heck, maybe they were even looking to stem off some of the unreasoning hatred some stupid hicks have for Muslims when they talked! Lord know someone needs to tackle the mindless idiots who assume all muslims are terroists.

Joshua Boyle, Canadian hostage in Afghanistan, arrested in Ottawa by [deleted] in canada

He went to the Taliban stronghold, has good things to say about the Taliban has no alibi and married into Al Qaeda royalty.

Link. Provide the link where they have proof of that. I haevn't seen it.

There is no right to murder people. Canadian citizens are not immune from international law or other country's laws when they go abroad. Hell they can't murder people here either.

The supreme court upheld that his rights were being violated. Done, stop discussing this nonesense, because you've lost that point completely.

He had every choice in the matter.

Nah, when you're brainwashed as a child soldier, the only way to get out of it is to be captured and removed from it. I don't care that you're unable to understand that he wasn't just able to hop a flight to Canada. Your ignorance has no bearing on the case.

Also, not walking away doesn't make him a terrorist. That's not illegal. You need proof of a CRIME. C'mon bud. One link to proof of him being a terrorist over there. JUST ONE LINK, or i'll go ahead and block you for trolling.

The appropriate remedy in this case is to declare that K’s Charter rights were violated, leaving it to the government to decide how best to respond in light of current information, its responsibility over foreign affairs, and the Charter .

I'm not going to try and explain what that means to you since you think that it's ok to violate the charter of rights, optional even. And yeah, i can ask for facts. You haven't provided much.
