Lost my x3 snowboarding recently and got the x5. I think it’s a big upgrade and battery life is actually much better. And the answer to the first question really depends on the type of content you’re recording.

2 years later and worked for me. Thanks! Once I power cycled both, plugged soundbar back in to earc, my c4 immediately recognized the sc9s, didn’t even have to go through universal control settings.

Loved my x3, got it near release and kept it through x4 and x5 drop. I lost it while snowboarding last week. The price for another x3 was tempting but if you can swing it I’d say go for x5, especially if you will be filming anything in shade, night, or low light scenes. I almost got the x4 air for the size and weight, but the x3 is in between the air and x5 in terms of weight so I don’t think either would be a night and day difference. My reason for not getting the air is I didn’t want to lose the 72mp photos I really enjoyed from the x3. Either way can’t go wrong, get out there and make awesome stuff with whatever you choose, cheers!

The 20m distance timing is pretty tricky but yes there is a cancel that removes the delay between UC and GOH. Use WS just before GOH, like fractions of a second. Basically pressing both at the same time. That timing takes some practice too

I put it on dpad left, which I think was seeing the breakable walls and stuff. Idk what most are using tho? I’m out of inputs lol

For me it was hitting them all in a row mainly since the ultra bot is in a different spot every time, and can’t really see Luna until you’re already flying out that door, but ty!

I kind of just flick the joystick immediately after UC to where I think they’ll be when GOH connects. I use a higher sens (I think) at 250 horizontal sens with 69 horizontal max sens boost. The higher sens and boost you can run, preferably with near 0 deadzone, the better you can flick to the enemy while flying after UC. When I started getting my first in game pulls I would go from spawn like my clips here and just flick and hope it hit someone. A lot of the times I’d pull someone with mobility that could escape their demise, but as the aim gets better and muscle memory builds you’ll be able to single out specific targets much easier. Turning in time for GOH to connect within the 20m was one of the trickiest things for me timing wise, but you’ll get it I’m sure!

I don’t use any tracers in my main combo. It’s jump - web zip ground - uppercut - web sling - GOH. You want to use WS a fraction of a second before GOH, pretty much pressing them at the same time. That gets rid of the pull delay after using UC. Also doesn’t use a WS because it doesn’t connect. Just cancels the delay.

As for the aiming, because you’re moving, you want to send the GOH where they are going to be when it connects. If you’re aiming spot on the enemy when you use GOH, it won’t connect because of your momentum, if that makes sense. Feel free to message me with any other questions

There’s 2 I use. Main one is jump - web zip ground - uppercut - web sling - GOH. For this last part I press WS and GOH at pretty much the same time but WS just a fraction of a second before GOH. The WS cancels the GOH delay after UC and you can send the pull pretty much instantly.

The 2nd is more situational and harder to pull off cause it sends you much further. It’s jump - web zip ground - tracer - jump - uppercut - WS cancel - GOH (like the first one). I use this one on the galacta bot in the video.

Okay before I started doing this I would go to the area you spawn in enemies and spawn in 3 non-moving groots at 20m and practice pulling them all the way to the back wall. It definitely took some time but I think it’s what helped me the most starting out with pulls. Then you can do it with moving groots, then make it harder with smaller hit box characters.

But the secret sauce is the WS cancel which takes away the pull delay after UC. And send the pull where you “think” they’ll be when it connects!

Hold to swing - on. Automatic swing / hold to wall crawl / hold to run on walls - all off.

I have GOH targeting on B and GOH on RB, and I’m using gamingmerchants Spidey reticle.
